Wow, I just called him to ask if he does reviews for contracts. He was kind enough to ask me "what state and county"....he pointed me in the direction to get an attorney in Michigan so I would not have to pay travel fees "if" I was to be called to court.....who does that? This guy!!! What a solid individual and what a very, very rare find in the world now. He is now saved in my contacts and if I was to need anything in the Austin area that fall within his wheel house I'm heading here.

I called Mr. Blake for help on a possible case. He was patient and listened to my situation. Although Mr. Blake was not able to help me directly as he does not handle my type of case he did refer me to a collogue that was able to help. I have worked with many attorneys for various reasons and Mr. Blake was a straight forward and very helpful.

I have had the pleasure of working with James since May 2013 in forming my engineering consulting business. I would highly recommend James Blake to anyone seeking legal counsel for small business related issues. James has advised me on a multitude of issues since I started my company, including but not limited to: business startup and formation, negotiating business contracts, putting in place independent contractor agreements and work orders, intellectual property advisement, non-competition agreements, lead generation, and general business development advice. He is extremely accessible by phone and email, is always quick to respond. When he has given an estimated date for a deliverable, he always delivers on time or early. In addition, he has taken the time to get to know me and my business, and understand some of the highly technical work that I do. As a technical consultant, it was important to have someone who could help take the technical work that I do and translate that into a business model that is attractive to potential clients. Working with James has been an excellent experience, and has served my business very well.
