I had a layover in Minneapolis Airport so I grabbed a bite at the Blue Door. The service was good and the burger I ordered called the Blucey Burger was juicy. The Blue Door was a nice place to take a load off for a little while. I would call this place more of a sports bar type eating establishment.Food: 4/5
Best airport food I've had. Burger and fried green beans were v fresh and yummy. I'd recommended this establishment to any and all of my closest friends and family. Jucy Lucy yum yum it's called a Blucy here and it's the same great taste you know and love.Food: 5/5
My flight was delayed in the morning and this was the closest place to grab a drink along with something to eat to the gate I flew out of. I sat down at a table, expecting to have to scan the QR code to place an order, but shortly after getting settled, I was greeted with a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. I then placed my order and the food came out in a timely fashion. The service was great, as well as the food, which was a humanga-changa. I would expect to pay this at a restaurant outside of the airport - however, I was not expecting how great this tasted at an airport. I was beyond impressed by everything and would highly recommend anyone to stop in here. The right amount of cheese/salsa on both sides and I cleaned the plate without any issues. If I flew out of MSP again, I would gladly stop here again. Keep up the great work!
Located near C gates, take tram to reach it quickly. Handicap accessible via ramp. Friendly and attentive staff. Classic rock on background music. Quiet and comfortable with ample seating. Reasonable food prices, especially for an airport. Ordered cheese curds large serving best with 2+ people and Cluck Yeah chicken sandwich BBQ, bacon, cheddar, and pickles on brioche bun. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp
The service is appalling. The only thing they have going at this location is the name. I come through MSP yearly and deep down I hope the location will finally get better. I really like the burgers as a previous local, so I try and hope the management at this location will change. It doesn’t….no less than a 30 minute wait and we’ve had to leave because we’ve run out of time. The servers stand around avoiding eye contact and I believe they truly just want you to leave, so they don’t need to work. No kids menu, so we asked for a bun and cheese. They weren’t capable of making that work. It’s an airport, food shouldn’t take 45 minutes.
Grabbed a few apps while waiting for a flight. Loved the cheese curds highly recommendFood: 5/5
I think most of the reviews forget that this is an airport pub/restaurant. The price to value ratio changes in airports. I ordered a local beer Surly Furious and their signature ’blucy’ burger. Both came quick. Both were tasty! The restaurant is clean. Great view of the tarmac and lots of screens playing multiple sports. The service was great. The staff was friendly. Excellent music playlist classic rock when I was there. I would definitely come back.
If you don’t have a lot time at the airport to eat, DON’T eat here. Restaurant was about 40% full and took over 10 minutes for a server to stop, even with using that QR code on the table, 10 minutes to get drinks after ordering and was even miss charged for the size of my beverage got a pint beer and was charged the bigger 20oz size. There were plenty of servers talking amongst each other so surprised it took forever to even order. Spent little over an hour just for one beverage and 1 appetizer. Won’t be going back and should have seen the reviews before sitting.
Airport location: Crazy high prices with a hidden “hospitality” fee that doesn’t even go to the service staff. Burger is literally just a burger with no sides. Cobb salad was aight tho.
Super disappointing. We got the original Blucy and the Nacho Totchos. The Blucy honestly was just not good, it was burnt and dry and had almost no cheese on the inside… and super small and over priced. I would not recommend, McDonald’s would be better. The only good part of the meal was the Nacho Tatchos and they were ok at best.
