The Boathouse is a nice place for small groups for a relaxed happy hour when it’s not crowded. The service was very good and helpful. The cocktails are typically priced for the area and can be found on the online menu. The shots are pricier. The serving sizes for the appetizers are good for sharing. The fried calamari is a particularly good value. We also had the fries, chicken quesadilla, and wings or what I could call boneless chicken tenders. I didn’t realize there was a patio in the back outside.
Indoor space: Classic bar, nothing too special to report. Outdoor back patio: Well, I love outdoor seating. It’s behind the restaurant, so it kinda hides away. Good beer selection but nothing to rave about for the food. Other than get the molten brownie thing if it is there. :
We ate early for dinner. Food was served quickly and it was good. Watch your step going in it's a bit taller of a threshold then you would expected. It's dark inside but there are two TV's, I believe. As we got seated and served more people arrived. It seemed like there was only one waitress and she did a great job taking care of everyone.
The wait was so long and the food wasn't worth it. The wait was close to 45-1 hour. The atmosphere is pretty loud and it's so dark. The shepherd's pie was okay. I feel like I'm eating salty mush.
Small but cozy place, the Tacos were amazing, delicious, the drinks were really good.
Great food and ambiance, both inside and outside. We visited on a particularly chilly fall day and they had large space heaters outside that were perfect. Inside is a very cozy vibe. Drinks are great as well. Highly recommend.
Really nice experience. Friendly bartender who was also the server that Wednesday evening. The shepherd's pie with the ground lamb was outstanding! The mac and cheese was so rich and creamy. Ther decor was very fitting for the restaurant name. Great place to stop if you're in need of a kitchen that's open late- Dinner is served till 10:30 :
My refuge when Daedalus is too packed it always is. A little pricey for some of the food options, but the back patio is super fun. Enjoy it while the nice weather lasts!
A quiet tavern the two times that I have visited. Nice staff and a decent menu. It leans towards the bottle side vs draft which is different from the area. The specialty cocktails are fun and refreshing.
Nice place, tasty food and gently staff. Recommended!!
