The Colosseum Restaurant

Nice atmosphere, full wet bar, very nice deserts, mozzarella is first rate, food is prepared to order and plenty of free parking.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. It has its ups and downs, but I've never had a bad meal and have always been treated well. Miles better service and pricing than other places around.

booked a dinner for 25 and had awful service, essentially forgot about us. The waiters sat in an empty booth and ignored us while the whole reason the restaurant was open was because of us, there was nobody there and they still neglected to serve us, poured the wrong wine in the wrong glasses and mixed it and then still charged us for it. also at the end of the meal with all the left over food, they left boxes for us to pack up our own stuff. Did not bring the child meals that we ordered ahead of time. Would never book another even with them again. Service was pitiful.

The Colosseum claims to be authentic Italian food. 21 dollars for veal parm that was not appetizing at all. Much better options for Italian food further south.

Not that appetizing. Claimed to be authentic. Sadly not. I got the chicken parm sub. A very thin piece of chicken breast was used for the sub. Not much meat at all. Sauce was mediocre. Cheese was good. Bread was ok but not meant for the sub. Got more bread than anything. Oh and the mushroom appetizer I got before wasn’t flavorful at all either. Only good thing was the waitress came swiftly when our drinks were low. Might be because it was very empty when we came to eat. I won’t return.
