I recently got a miniature dachshund puppy back in February and was interested in puppy classes. Not having much time, I decided to look into getting a trainer, even though I was slightly hesitant if it would make a difference or not. After searching for trainers I decided to go with the dog wizard of Nashville. I ended up doing private puppy lessons and have been working with Tate for the past couple months and he is AMAZING! Each lesson I am amazed with how much my dog is learning and retaining. My dog is now almost 6 months (started at 4 months) old I am so happy with the results. I plan on looking into private adult classes because of the results thus far. In addition, the staff has been amazing with working with my schedule and very pleasant. I highly recommend!

After consulting with other dog training professionals, my wife and I met with Kendall and began seeing positive changes with our newest family member. Not only that, but we began seeing the training process differently. As a result, much of the frustration we had been feeling vanished! Both my wife and I grew up with dogs as well as have had dogs together; however, our sweet, loveable, and obstinate rescue was our first training challenge. We are so glad to have found Kendall. He is easygoing, and through one-on-ones and group sessions makes you feel supported through the whole process!!! Two paws up!

*EDIT* After having left the below 3-star review, Kendall got in touch with me and was very apologetic. He said the assessments were something new they were trying out to be sure they were assessing owners who were serious about training, and he appreciated my feedback about making them either cheaper or more worth the money. He sent a check to refund the cost. So I'm changing my review to a 4, because he really jumped in to make things right. I still don't know much about his training style or full programs, but he's honest and sincere.
The assessment didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, and I wasn't shown how the trainer would be with my dog or given any pointers other than, "here are our programs and their prices." The assessment is $99, so don't do it unless you're wanting to spend another $1,400 on the training program.

Had a consultation which was $99. Told I was going to be followed up with in regards to the two programs they offer. 1400 was the cheapest. They took my payment then never called me again. Awful service and wouldn't waste my time with the $99 consultation.
