The Farm On Adderley

About

A market-driven slow food restaurant, The Farm on Adderley in Ditmas Park has made farm-to-table dining accessible to the community for over 10 years.

Story

In it's relaxed, rustic setting with a serene, charming back garden and a cozy bar, The Farm on Adderley seasonally prepares fresh, clean, and locally sourced food in precise dishes without the attitude. Seasonal bar programs, natural wines and craft beers compliment each ingredient-driven and nose-to-tail meal. The Farm on Adderley is kid-friendly, cocktail-ready and a Brooklyn favorite, serving lunch, dinner and brunch.

We also do large on-site parties/events at the restaurant, and have an extensive catering service to bring our beloved food to your offsite events and celebrations.

Sad that @thefarmonadderley is permanently closing on July 8 and definitely had to pay it a visit before that happens. Went to Ditmas Park for this dinner and was well worth it! Was a bit confused when I saw “ferns” on the menu but in the spirit of plant based food lover I had to give it a try….and it was so good! I loved how natural and healthy it tasted! Everything from the fern itself to the herb noodles tasted like the fresh ingredients themselves but also perfectly seasoned. Can’t comment on the sandwich since I didn’t try it the fries on the side were too salty and the cocktail was too strong for me tbh. It might be a bit tight but I would recommend everyone to try this place out this week if you can!
Very nice restaurant with indoors and outdoors space. First time here, I came to branch. I have to admit that the food is really good and tasty. Coctail drinks are also well prepared and rich in flavor. Although I must say that the food I chose Breakfast Plate was very tasty but there is no information on the menu as well as the waitress did not tall me that the dish is very spicy.I know from Experience that I should be informed about it. I definitely recommend this restaurant, great atmosphere and service.
Very good. The crispy fried sun chokes were delicious and had a good kick to them but I wouldn’t necessarily call them spicy. The bacon with the little gem salad was also good. Came on a Friday around 12:30-1 and no wait, still a good amount of seating left. Has an outdoors seating option which is WONDERFUL and beautiful with their vines surrounding their clear plastic open canopy in their backyard.
Beautiful back yard seating with heating. Great indoor seating. There was a wait but the restaurant treated us to free drinks. The food was greattttttt. Breakfast plate and a good amount of eggs, grits, sausage. The chicken sandwich was great, cheese and sweet onion sause on top with good amount of fries. The burger was well done with a side of still juicy. The waitress offered us the many good condiments the resturant offered. Wonderful place. The homemade foccaica and ricotta cheese needed something!!!
Living in the area over the years, this is my first time coming. For a Saturday brunch, we got our seat pretty fast as we walk in but I am sure it's just our luck. All the tables are full btw. Service is very quick. They got you menu and right down to ordering. I think our food and coffee came within 5 minutes. Best part is unlimited coffee and they come around pretty often to fill you up. My salmon with bread is amazing. I wished I got a hot breakfast but coffee is good enough. For a table of four, we tried three of their dishes and they can be found in the picture. Price is reasonable. What do I know? I know it's expensive to run a restaurant and $15 for a seat down meal isnt that bad. Brunch for four will set you back about $100.
Came here for valentine's day and try their special menu. The cocktail is pretty impressive, well made old fashion. Food is a little greasy, using fresh ingredients. It's tasty in general, might come here for brunch.
Cannot recommend The Farm on Adderley highly enough. Impeccable and hospitable service. DELICIOUS fare the beet grilled cheese + fried egg was heavenly!. Beakers for wine?!?!? A+++
I just came here today for a little New Years dinner for myself. In spite of having such a small menu, the food is awesome and very flavorful. I got the Wild Shrimp Dumplings for my appetizer and the Sea Bass as my main. The Sea Bass was cooked to perfection. The service from the waitstaff was on point and the atmosphere is very comfortable. This is definitely a place to check out in Ditmas Park. Will definitely come back....
A cute local eatery. Good brunch, really friendly staff. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, which was great. The curry mayo is really good, but their hot sauce is amazing. We even asked if they sold it, and apparently we're not the first to ask. I'll be checking back here to see if they start selling it for sure. The service was a little slow, but everything else was nice.
Beautiful place. Professional staff, interesting manue. Love the atmosphere, very cozy place for a family or just quick brunch with the friends. For coffee loves they don't have an Expresso machine, but regular coffee was good. Unfortunately, the chocolate cake wasn't that good then the rest of the manue. Will be definitely back!
