The Farrington Apartments

I have been staying at the Farrington since July 2020 and I love everything about it. Ms. Leslie and Ms. Joanne are very sweet and care a lot about the property and their residents. The comfort of knowing my children are getting off the bus in a safe environment makes me stay here at The Farrington. It may be housed off Broad River, but it is hidden and quiet. They have me for one more year. Oh and I LOVE THE POOL!!!

I have enjoyed living at The Farrington. It's a tucked-away apartment complex, and in a way it feels like it's its own little town. My apartment was well-cleaned before I moved in. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I have seen a bug inside since I've lived here I don’t do bugs at all so this is nice. Maintenance acts very quickly when I put in a service request. Best of all, my dogs are welcome and loved here. Neighbors are friendly. Managers are fantastic. My only real complaint if I should call it that, even is that the website led me to believe I would have a private balcony instead of a shared one. Overall though I’m a satisfied resident.

My husband and I just moved in and everything has been wonderful! JoAnne and Leslie were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Our apartment was clean and well-maintained and the neighborhood is quiet. Would definitely recommend The Farrington to anyone looking to move to the Columbia area!

Mrs. Leslie and Mrs. JoAnne is amazing. I always wanted to move to the Farringtons because they were in the cut and just beautiful and heard so many great things about the apartment complex. Now I am moving there it’s like a dream come true being my first apartment so excited!!! The staff there are so polite and makes you feel welcomed and they email back fast and they answer the phone fast. I met the maintenance guy I forgot his name but he is as sweet as he can be telling me about the units and if I needed anything to let him know. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere as well. I would recommend people to come move here!! If you want a forever home.

Ms. Leslie, Ms. Joanne, and the Maintenance team is great. The area is quite and safe and Ms. Leslie is always a great helping hand and makes sure to always make this place feel like home. When it was time to renew I didn’t hesitate to renew for the 2 time!!

I was originally very hesitant to move to Broad River Road after hearing/reading about the lack of safety in the area - but the Farrington community is tucked away down a long road and secluded from the craziness of Broad River - so I took a chance, and I'm glad I did! Leslie and Jo Anne were super helpful and kind from the beginning, and were easy to contact throughout my lease! My apartment was clean upon move-in, maintenance completed tasks in a timely manner, and it was usually very quiet and peaceful! The only reason I didn't renew my lease was because I moved to a house closer to my job, with a yard for my dog. One of my favorite parts about living here, though I fortunately never needed to take advantage of it, was that they have a Courtesy Police Officer on site 24 hours should they be needed. Definitely would recommend living here if you find yourself needing somewhere to live on the St. Andrews/Broad River part of town.

Our experience with The Farrington Apartments has been great. It's a nice and quiet environment. The landscape of the property is always well kept. Ms. Leslie and Ms. Joanne are awesome. They are always professional and willing to help their residents. I would recommend living here to anyone who is looking for a peaceful home.

This review is way over due! My husband and I where just moving to Columbia from North Carolina and searching for an apartment that was affordable and had flexibility with leasing. Leslie made time for us to come down and see the complex and gave us a floor plan example to help with our decision. This was the first home we brought our baby home to and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. The Farrington provided a clean, comfortable, and SPACIOUS home for us. They provided excellent service for pest control and maintenance! Never had to wait for something to be fixed. Although, we only signed a 6 month lease only because we were pending on closing on a house it was the most comfortable transition to the Columbia area. Thank you all of The Farrington team!!

I've been living here for about 2 years and I have no complaints. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, at least it is at my unit. The property itself is very well kept. Since living here we've gotten new ACs, Roof, etc. Ms. Leslie and Ms. Joanne do a great job running things and are always willing to help solve whatever issue you may have. I would recommend living here to anyone who is looking.

The Farrington was HOME to me for FIVE YEARS!! I work in Property Management myself and NEVER have ever seen one run with so much organization, tact, and above all LOVE!!! It is OBVIOUS that Mrs. Leslie LOVES what she's doing and genuinely cares for people. Even though I am not a current resident, I still call the office from time to time just to say hello because she was just that amazing! She truly leads by example. The staff is absolutely amazing as well! You can tell that they love it too because the atmosphere is ALWAYS pleasant. There was never an ignored work order request or even a delay in making sure that her residents have a wonderful experience. If I could move back, I'd do it TODAY!! The Farrington will always be home to me because my experience was just that amazing and Mrs. Leslie makes sure that the property stays in tip top shape. When they say "You matter at the Farrington" those are not just words.... it TRULY is as genuine as it sounds. I would recommend the Farrington to ANYBODY!! You will NOT regret it!!
