I’m a current tenant here and I’ve been having ongoing issues with my ac and yet they still haven’t fixed it going on 2 months with this same issue. They continuously says it’s fixed and tell me to leave the thermostat on a certain temperature and it still doesn’t work. Terrible service I wish I would’ve did thorough research before moving in
The worst apartment I have ever rented. I requested a an emergency service which is leaking from in the ceiling of the bathroom and the bathroom and they never showed up. Management is putting money first they don’t care about the residents experience. Don’t you ever think to rent with this company. It’s disgusting apartments.
My husband and I had some trouble with an apartment complex we were trying to get into which left us with no place to go. We went to the Hollows in desperate need of a place to live and we received excellent service and a fair deal on an apartment! The leasing agent, Gwen, was very friendly and straightforward with us. She worked with us to get us into an apartment that same day! She explained everything very well and was very personable. The apartment itself was in great condition! It was mostly updated, aside from the cabinets and had new carpet! It was kept very clean and had no bugs! The only downside to this place is it is a bit pricey but it's worth it! Edit: After living there for a year, I can say this place is not as nice as I initially thought. While the office staff and maintenance workers were all very nice, there was always something breaking and not getting fixed. We went without a bathroom doorknob for several months after it broke. Our upstairs neighbor flooded their apartment, which resulted in damage to our apartment that never got fixed, that management tried to charge us for upon our move-out inspection. My car was also broken into twice while living here, not a safe area at all. Overall, cons definitely outweigh the pros here
If I could leave 0 reviews I would. Just came into the office was standing there for 15 mins and no one said a thing, no “hello be right with you” or anything. That was already setting the tone for me about how it would be moving forward so I decided to exit!
I like the area because of the apartments updates and I have a fair rent rate but what’s up with all these hidden fees almost up to $100? That definitely wasn’t included into my lease agreement smh Update: I’m aware that my lease will be ending in October. I wanted to renew but it seems that these people only carry about the people that’s in the leasing off. The office is always closed and they never answer the phone at all when I call, but they keep track on late payments and are quick to put any kind of notices on your door. I received a notice of Non-Renewal today 8/2/2022 after been trying to reach out to them. They are so unprofessional when it comes to helping us residents me in particular with their situation’s. Out of my one year lease contract I’ve only been late on rent 1 time and the late fee charge was $125! That’s ridiculous in my opinion. If it’s not about the money with them then they really don’t want to hear what you have to say. So yeah I’m definitely not renewing here. Don’t even get me started on the maintenance people that’s another story for another time.
50 days since I moved out on time, rent paid, no damage to the apartment and still have not received my damage deposit after several calls. The leasing office staff has been very professional and courteous about it, I appreciate their help. It sounds like it’s an issue higher up, but still. Hopefully I get an update soon other than “it’s in the mail” for the third week in a row, since I’d really like to avoid having to escalate it.
This has been the easiest and quickest move in and approval process I have ever experienced. Gwen was AWESOME from the first time I met her. Unlike other apartment complexes, you have to wait 48-72 hours to know if you're approved or not; the staff at the Hollows was able to tell me within 15 minutes. They provided me with a wonderful move in gift and they have awesome move in specials. Not to mention, I am totally in love with my new apartment. The location here is perfect; I'm literally 2 minutes away from everything. The rent is definitely affordable, considering the central location. The apartments are up to date, unlike other apartments I've seen. I am sooo in love with my new home! Update: I actually broke my lease to move out due to the incredibly high rent. I was initially told that my rent would be no more than $45/month extra, due to the water bill fluctuation. My rent was supposed to be no more than $790/month. I never seen that rate! It was always $800 and up! Instead of them charging you for the water that you actually use, they combine every tenant's water usage, divide it by the amount of tenants there, and that's what determines your final rent amount. In a nutshell, I was paying someone else's water bill too because I was living alone so there was no need for the water portion of my rent to be over $100!! Ever since this experience, I no longer move in to locations who doesn't have a flat rate for a water bill, or where I can't be billed directly for my water usage.
OK now honestly, I lived here for 4 years and 3 of them were amazing! But now, there's a new management team as of December 2020 and a lot of changes have been made, they are saying I'm not eligible to renew my lease another year for whatever reason is still unknown bc I never had this issue Ever before and now, I only have 2 weeks before my lease is up and I have to leave! Unbelievable right... Believe it. This past year has been horrible.. The property manager is unprofessional, the staff manager is nice tho, they also have a whole new maintenance crew who does absolutely nothing!!! It took them almost 2 months to replace a dirty air filter... 2 months!!! The other management team and maintenance team was on top of everything!!! I don't know what's going on or what changes they have going on here but God makes no mistakes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here up until this last year. If you really need somewhere to stay and you asked me about this place 2 years ago, most definitely! But now, ain't no way.. Stay away... P.S. I have a new neighbor and still trying to figure out how he became eligible and I'm not.. I go to work faithfully everyday and never seen his car move.. On top of that, he stole packages from my front door I had ordered. I hope this helps anyone who reads this
A squatter almost caused me to be homeless when they refused to move out a week before I was supposed to move it here, my move in date was pushed back 2 weeks but I finally got in. About what you'd expect for the money, no huge complaints. Apparently they don't bill utilities based on your actual usage so if your neighbor uses a ton of water and you use none you split the bill, its way higher than it should be so plan on utility bills over $100 per month that doesn't include power or wifi. The apartment complex feels reasonably safe and the office is usually pretty helpful.
I've lived here since May of 2019. I started with a 1 bedroom 577 square feet and transferred to a 2 bedroom 2 bath when my lease ended in May of 2020. I absolutely love it here! The maintenance worker is extremely courteous and fully explains anything that may need to be done. Management is out of this world!!! Kim and Thomas are literally God sent! They have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to make sure that I had everything that I needed and if a want could be accommodated that was done too! I am not one to expect perfection and I try to be understanding and I can honestly say never have I ever experienced customer service this amazing. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything that's needed. It's secluded yet included. I can't thank the staff enough for genuinely caring about their residents. -LaNesha R.
