Grateful Garment Project is a loving, caring organization staffed with amazing people mostly volunteers who resource, organize and distribute clothes, resources and counseling to victims of sex crimes. Rather than walk out of a hospital leaving their clothing behind for dna testing and a criminal investigation in a paper hospital gown, they stock hospital closets and crisis centers throughout California with clothes to meet the needs of nearly any gender, age and size, helping to restore the dignity of these individuals they serve. Grateful Garment impacts the lives of so many in such a meaningful way. Love love love this organization and I support Grateful Garment as much as possible. Please offer your time and financial resources to such a caring, loving group of volunteers who give and reach out to those in need.
I have frequently donated many clothing items from my closet and purchased. I've spearheaded lots of clothing drives on various social media sites. I truly believe in their mission! But I hate that they have to exist. The love they express for those going through this devastating trauma is so evident. The office is very organized and a peaceful place to visit.
Great community resource. Friendly employees.
