I got from a business trip to New Orleans where I fell in love with the food. Jambalaya especially. One of my friends suggested I try this small place deep inside Farmers Market. And to my surprise, the food was wonderful! If you like creole food, have been to New Orleans or just want shrimp spicy stew this is a great place. I put in hot sauce sat back and felt great!

Damn, I wish I had checked reviews before I ate here. It’s terrible. Can’t even finish the jambalaya. Asked for shrimp. Literally found one tiny shrimp about halfway through. Boyfriend ordered original with pork. Barely a handful of tiny pieces of shredded pork. The sausage in it was noxious. Felt ill after eating. The cornbread that came along with it was stale af and the sweet potato salad was just a nasty pile of shredded carrots covered in who knows what. A waste of nearly $30.

After I had a procedure done, I had the urge for gumbo and asked some friends via facebook for recommendations. My one friend told me he wanted to come by here because he saw it on TV and it looked tempting. I tried the gumbo and jambalaya and they were not as flavorful as I've had in the past. They were very bland. You'd think with all the ingredients they would have some flavor, but no. It was a disappointment. I am still on the look out for a good gumbo spot.
