The heights aquatic center is an outstanding pool for young children. It has a zero entry area, and is shallow throughout most of the recreational area. Bigger kids do not have the room to play, this is mostly for elementary and younger. I was there to help my daughter learn to swim. We are not residents of Richmond heights. On this Friday evening, it was fairly empty, and a great environment for her to learn, and feel comfortable.
There are also two/three lap lanes, the third looks like it opens up to the other areas in a few places. Also, this is a saltwater pool.

I've been going to this gym for years and its a fantastic place to get a work out done! It has a great weight section for both beginners, intermediate, and advance weight lifters. They frequently update their workout equipment so its up to par with the latest exercise programs. The pool is fun for families but also for a workout. It's 25 yards, so if you're a big swimmer, anticipate a lot of laps. It is heated so it makes winter swimming a little more enjoyable. Lap swim hours are specific, so pay attention before you go. This place has showers and lockers (you do have to bring your own lock) that are fairly standard for most gyms.

Great aquatic center. They have the typical lazy river and splash areas that modern aquatic centers have. However, later hours and a nicely separated lap lane that has cooler water than the rest of the pool.
