Mission

To maintain and preserve the Propylaeum, to present the Propylaeum to the public, and to increase awareness of the Propylaeum's historical significance in advancing educational and cultural opportunities for women. To provide a historically significant place where the public, particularly Indianapolis area residents, may enjoy literature, music, science and the fine arts. To cultivate a sense of civic responsibility. To foster culture and promote educational opportunities and to provide nursing scholarships from time to time.

Products

In addition to hosting functions for its own members, the Propylaeum is available for business meetings; parties; events such as weddings, receptions and showers; family gatherings; and other occasions. It offers excellent catering services and is licensed to serve alcoholic beverages.
