If you ask people who paid little more for their cup of Joe from Starbucks, you'll be hard to find people who feel they got ripped off for paying little extra because of the difference in QUALITY. I'm only giving this analogy only because I know we could've "save" a little on our estate service, but in NO way we regret paying the amount for what we got. And I know for a fact their fee is quite reasonable, and we really appreciate Atty James working with us setting up our Trust. Sure he was knowledgable but we really felt like he was in our corner like a good friend guiding us from the start to finish. When we asked about additional entity setup another firm recommended, he took the time to listen and even confirmed with his colleague to ensure he was giving us the BEST advice, not the most EXPENSIVE advice. Our last names are not Marshall or Owen but feel like we can "adopt" them as our family.

We had difficulty getting a Trust attorney to call us back. Not so with Sam Marshall who immediately returned our call and understood our needs. We were handling changes to both our Trust and for an elderly family member’s Trust. We worked well with him and he met us at our family member’s domicile so as not to disturb her routine. He didn’t just download a boiler plate trust off the internet and fill in the blank spaces, he created a document explicitly for us and tailored it to fit our needs. He explained the law and his reasoning for his suggestions in a manner that was easily understood. All in all, Sam is accommodating, extremely knowledgeable, offered sound advice after listening to our wishes all while making us feel comfortable with him. We have no problem recommending Sam to anyone as we are committed to him as our family attorney and strongly recommend him for his integrity, pleasant manner and knowledge of the law.

We went to Sam shortly after my mom died to sort out what needed to be done after a family member contested my mom's will. When we first sat down with him and he explained the process. The case was complex, but he made it very simple for us to understand. He was always professional, easy to talk too, always took our calls and would call us back personally if he wasn't available. He's very diverse in estate planning and files all the paperwork very quickly and thoroughly. After the first court hearing he talked to the other attorney to see if we could avoid a lengthy process and was instrumental in getting the family member to drop the case, thus avoiding future court hearings, fee's and added stress. He wasn't like the big law firms and drag it out for more money and he always does what is right for the best interests of his clients. even if it means he gets paid less. Sam definitely is passionate about his job. I would recommend him if you need a great lawyer that understands estate planning, other services. He goes above and beyond expectations and did not charge exuberant fee's like law firms do. I will be using him again to draft my own estate planning. Once again THANK YOU SAM!!!
