The Music Man

Great store, been dealing with them since I was a small kid. Always have been very nice and willing to wheel and deal with me to provide a fair outcome for myself and the store. Great selection and they always have an eye out for cool vintage stuff as well. Instructors are top notch, and the techs have always stood by any repair I've brought them.

I have been a customer of Music Man in Brighton for many years. Their guitar techs have saved a few of my most valuable instruments that I thought were goners. I am a musician and I currently own 22 guitars, 3 keyboards, 2 mandolins, 2 ukuleles, 4 amps, 2 PA systems and a set of congas. I bought many of those from Music Man. If I need something they will stock it. I moved out of the area 6 years ago to Chelsea and I still make the trip. They are musicians so they understand what my needs are and help me the best they can. Keep up the good work.

Utterly ridiculous. The pompous millennial buying the used instruments should be drawn and quartered publicly. His bones should be ground to dust and spit from a cannon into space; leaving absolutely no trace of his existence anywhere on this earth. Damn his soul.

If you want to know why The Music Man has been in business for 24+ years, it’s the sheer fact that they’re the only music shop around. The responses to the reviews are also so unprofessional. The fact that the owner would be so crass and defensive shows how childish he is. The guitar selection overall isn’t bad (not sure why he took this as a complaint) but the violin selection is a joke. Why even sell violins if the selection is going to be so limited? Doesn’t help that the employees are rude. And his apology about the rude staff was in no way sincere. And judging by how many other unsatisfied customers complained about the rude staff, I’m surprised he doesn’t take it more seriously. Instead he defends the staff and calls customers liars. Not surprising that his star rating is dropping so quickly.

Not open during stated business hours (2pm Sunday). Drove an hour to get here because their voice mail said they're busy with other customers. Place looks great through the locked doors.
