The Net Set

New to area. Competent amateur with no formal training. Went in to get two rackets restrung and re-gripped. Had a great discussion with Karen on equipment. I ended up walking out with a new for me racket. Karen was very helpful and informative in helping me ascertain what the best cost/benefits were. Racket has been great so far! She also pointed out a couple courts to check out.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend, especially if you don’t know a lot and need help choosing a racket.

Run by the daughter of the woman who originally opened the store. She and her nephew answered all of my questions from grip wrap and strings to racket types and demo programs. Wrapped my racket in just a couple of minutes. Will continue to shop here for the personal service.

I had a poor experience. I expected better recommendations based on my play style and experience. I was told to select a racquet based on overall sales and a color I liked. No mention of demos. Prices were high and selection was limited. I won't be back. I got more information out of Amazon reviews than visiting this shop.

A wonderful, locally owned, family run, tennis shop. I really enjoy being able to demo rackets before I buy, and they credit your demo charges towards the cost of a new racket. They have the most high end tennis equipment in Salt Lake City – really, the only place who does around here – and all the people working are lifelong tennis players who know the sport. If you are a real tennis player this is the place to go in SLC.

Karen and her staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. They are prime examples of why local stores that offer personal service are far superior to online or big box retailers. I direct all of my tennis friends to this store for that reason.

The Net Set has been the tennis go-to for my family ever since I was little. Rackets, shoes, strings, you name it. Barbara, the owner, always takes really good care of us. It seems like she always strings my rackets within a day. The rackets I bought there when I was 14 or 15, just starting to play competitive tennis, have lasted me perfectly till now 23. This store buys high quality tennis equipment, or budget, but whatever your tennis needs, this store will have it!

The only place to go for racket stringing in SLC area. Other machines I've tried are off by +5Lbs. But Karen and her family who string here have the best calibrated machine - always; and turnaround time, especially for frequent string breakers and loyal customers, is the best around. Even if it's a little out of your way, go anyway, it's worth it for their selection and tennis know-how.

The Net Set is awesome. The staff is incredibly friendly. They've got a huge selection of racquets and they can get you one that fits your game. Along with a cool demo program they've also got a lot of accessories and they are one of the best racquet stringers around.
