I had an awesome experience with Next Step Reality and in particular with their agent Luke Walsh. Finding an apartment in NYC is a brutal process these days but Luke made the transition seamless and landed us in the perfect apartment. He was on his game and made sure we got our paperwork in, a bid on the apartment that would secure our spot, and kept us calm through an insane process. He was very knowledgeable regarding areas of the city and the steps to lock down a great spot. After spending a full day and having private car for transportation with Luke I would recommend him and Next Step to anyone I know!

It's a really tough market to find a place right now but Marilyn went above and beyond to help us. We came to tour in person and Next Step was very accommodating, with a car service that let us see 7 places in an afternoon. Marilyn came with us and when we just missed the apartment we really wanted people will sign on the spot right now she found us a place within the next week that was pretty much identical in terms of price, size and location. Since we couldn't be there in person this time, she did a virtual tour for us and even had her assistant measure room sizes for furniture. We ended up signing in early June. Can't recommend Next Step enough!

Our experience with Next Step Realty in West Village was even better then we would have expected. They made the search for an apartment so incredibly easy. My boyfriend and I were both coming to New York from out of state and not being in the city to look at places was too difficult to try and make work. When we arrived they greeted us with lots of hospitality and then instantly took us out to begin looking at places. Our broker we worked with, Jake, was phenomenal. A couple of weeks before we spoke to double check we were all on the same page with our budget, areas we are interested in, and things we are looking for. Jake was incredibly knowledgeable about the New York neighborhoods and showed us places that were exactly what we were looking for, as well as some other places to get a good idea of what we would want. His communication, knowledge and support is something you would never get with trying to find a place online or on your own. In today’s market, working with Next Step and Jake is sort of a must-do. We both highly recommend using them on your next apartment hunt.

Great experience with the Next Step team and our realtor Sophie. She did a terrific job matching our wants with both the right apartment and neighborhood. As first time renters in Brooklyn she alleviated a ton of stress as we prepared to move into the city. Having a private car was also a huge help and allowed us to quickly see apartments during our tour. Highly recommend - especially for people new to the area/rental process in NYC.

Luke Walsh at Next Step was a huge help in finding the ideal apartment for my roommate and I. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without him. We found an amazing apartment within just a few days of meeting Luke, who was always quick to respond to any questions. He was willing to stay up late to make sure we were first in line for the apartment, which was important and my roommate and I were on the west coast during this process. I would highly recommend Next Step and Luke Walsh if you are looking for an apartment in NYC!

Next Step made finding an apartment in NYC an extremely manageable process. Starting with our first phone call, Victoria was extremely professional, transparent re: the current realities of the market, and also made sure to reassure me that we'd find a place that fit my requirements. Sure enough, she was able to find an apartment that checked every single box and was within my budget. Victoria and Next Step somehow managed to make the stress of moving to a new city enjoyable!
