The North Face

I have shopped at North face stores all over the world. In paris, Edinburgh, london, and Manchester england. Whenever I go into one of your stores, there is a sense of knowledge, wisdom, and an overall friendliness from your staff my experience was no different at the Philadelphia store the other day. A nice warm greeting staff, fair price is, and the person at the register actually did something very nice. Told me that I was part of the rewards program and that I was going to save $10 off of each 100 spent. I'm so grateful for the help that I received. Also, all the staff there seemed very busy doing their jobs keeping the store clean and presentable for all the clientele. No question I will be back in to shop on numerous times and thank you so much for the wonderful customer service.

Yes, They Are My Favorite Winter Jacket, Coats, Boots, Etc. I was there to get another jacket, they had it for $250 it was just right for me!!!

Came here in search for a specific winter coat that I wanted, they didn’t have the color I like but that style of coat was available in black. Which was perfect cause I was able to try on the coat first to know what size would be best for me to purchase. I ask a member of staff if they had the color by any chance in stock at the store unfortunately they didn’t, but told me that if i wanted that color it could be order to the store if available on the website. So I came back 2 weeks later had them order the coat for me, and with no problem the coat was available for pick up at the store the next day. Staff was vary helpful and friendly I highly recommend this store.

The store was good. They had a lot of good sales and a lot of merchandise. It has 2 floors to suit all your shopping needs. I either went at a slow time or the store was just dead but there was no one in there but me. The staff was eager to help. Although went I went upstairs someone followed me up. Now I didn't quite get the feeling that they were to help. They didn't offer. I'm sure if I had a question they would help but I felt more like I was being watched.

I’m a big Northface fan and I was really really disappointed today. I bought something for my wife online and it was a little big. My wife brought it back to the store to do a size exchange and the store manager and an associate said that they wouldn’t be able to do so due to me getting it for a lower price. She brought it back out and said that they wouldn’t allow her to do it, so I grabbed it and walked back in. The associate saw me with the bag and said that we already told your wife that we wouldn’t be able to do the exchange here. I asked him to call his manager which happened to be on break and he comes downstairs. He was rolling his eyes, huffing and puffing And said that they’re on able to do it because I got a discount on the item. I explained to him that I wasn’t trying to return the item and that I just wanted to exchange it for size. He finally said OK just do it to the associate and we were out of the store in two minutes. Now, why didn’t he take care of my wife the first time? I hope this review is really seen by somebody who can make a difference because the north face is a great company but I don’t know about the retail employees. I didn’t want anything for free, I didn’t even want him to do me a favor, I just wanted the right size for her. I’m going to continue to support the north face as a brand but I’m not gonna stop in the store ever again.

We were trying to get a different size for the kid's jacket or a store credit. We got it as a gift so didn't have a receipt. It is brand new with the tags still on. Manager was rude and not helpful at all and at one point told my husband to get out of his face. Both of my kids were right there. All of this after spending lots of money in this particular store over many years.

I purchased a coat from here about two weeks ago and discovered that the sensor was left on I understand that these things happen but when I the customer have to prompt you the manager / sales person to apologize for the unconvinced and then you proceed to say well it could have been anybody it was some time ago ... why does that matter it was a winter coat not time to wear yet it's fall!! Anyway I think he could've handled this situation better and not been so cavalier about it . Probably won't patronize this store ever again.

The store itself is a bit small but there is a pretty good selection for women and children downstairs and men upstairs. Mostly importantly, the employees are friendly. I ordered a jacket online but when I received the item, I did not like it very much. I took it to the store hoping to return it. Turns out that if you pay with your PayPal account, you cannot return it at the store and get money or store credit back; you have to go through PayPal. However, Zach informed me that the store manager for this location is willing to let people exchange the item for something or equal or greater value. Thank you store manager! I ended up exchanging the jacket for another jacket and a hat on top of that.

Jonathan was super helpful. I tried on like 7 pairs of boots over two visits. I was about to give up, not least-wise because I was feeliugn bad ffor wearing out the staff. Instead he gave me a recommendation on the ones he was wearing. Said his were like 3 years old implied durability and that he'd hiked in them and even fell into a lake in sub 20 degree weather, but his feet stayed warm! Good looking out.
