The Par N Grill Restaurant, Caribou, Maine

Seems like one of the better places with a variety of dining experiences in the vicinity. There is a family dining area, outdoor patio and separate bar area with dart boards and a stage that also has a virtual driving range you can rent for $15/ 9 holes. If planning to play darts they do not have rental darts, but they have golf clubs for use.

Deceptively large and spacious dining area. Staff was very friendly and service was quick and accommodating. Food was excellent across the board, specials differ from other places to offer unique options and a comprehensive menu.

I get they were busy....and there are staff shortages. Baked potato was cold. Waitress took it back and heated it up. Was hot but not thoroughly cooked. Steak was a little cold on arrival. Sautéed mushrooms never arrived. It was disappointing for a $50 plus dinner. Salad bar was out of some dressings and some other items also.

My bacon, mushroom swiss burger was dry. I couldn't find a meal for less than $14 dollars. For 2 meals and two beers was a little over $50. The atmosphere was good and the waiter was great.

The food is good the amount is huge the service was good but there was 1 hour wait for our appetizers them our food came right after it . We ordered take out as well and it took 20 minutes . We would eat there again.

I ordered a large bacon cheeseburger pizza with ham and it was so delicious. I had a few lemonades to wash it down. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely recommend this place to friends. Sadly I live in Bangor and only come here once a year.

Don't order Mexican food in Northern Maine. You will be disappointed! This place included. I ordered the shrimp fajita plate and it came with about 4-5 ounces of previously frozen defrosted shrimp that were not seasoned AT ALL and they weren't even warm. Served over a plate of cut up lettuce and a couple tortillas. If you want their Mexican food, try the taco salad, which is remotely Mexican. I've eaten here a couple times and neither experience was great.

A nice place to hang out for a drink or meal. I ordered a steak. It took a while to come out but it was generously served and tasted good.
