The Pub & The People

Great atmosphere. Sat at the bar. Helpful service. Decent tap list, but got a cocktail (Paper Crane) and a burger & fries. The cocktail was excellent and the burger was pretty good - cooked to perfect temp but lackluster seasoning/flavor. The fries, however, were dreadful. They were too dark, yet also greasy, and dense/limp. Making fries is pretty predictable science, and there's really no excuse for a competent restaurant to make fries that are as bad as these were.

Such a great spot. Food always good. Drinks always good. Staff is always friendly. You can rely on this place for a nice visit every time.

I had brunch here. Great atmosphere. Perfect size, beautiful neighborhood bar. We had the steak and egg breakfast and the biscuits and gravy. The Steak was supposed to be hangar steak and eggs with two eggs and crispy home fries. The steak was about 3 ounces and cooked before we arrived at the restaurant. There was no flavor in this steak. No toast, bread or biscuit is served with this dish. The potatoes were not crispy, seasoned or hot. The biscuits and gravy were tasteless. Please pay more attention to the food going out of the kitchen. The food that was served could have been great if it was prepared with care. Three cooks on the line and another one in the back in a virtually empty restaurant should ensure a quality meal. Too many restaurants not paying attention in this town.

Great food. The two TV's they had had low hanging lights blocking the view of both from our table. The guacamole was excellent. The menu was limited to five items total because they were between brunch and dinner.

The pub is a fun spot to watch a game or sit on their large patio. On cold says, the provide blankets to wrap up in under the outside tent. And, the have fantastic vegan options! The fried cauliflower is amazing.
