Nice restaurant in midtown. Loved the interiors and the vibe of this place. The food was delicious. I had the Crispy Skin Salmon with Black rice and Green Curry Sauce and I liked it a lot. The scallops was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were good too. For dessert, we had the Blueberry cheesecake and the Sticky Toffee pudding and it was amazing. A perfect way to end our meal. They make really good cocktails as well. Service was nice, quick and efficient. They have a piano cocktail bar at the basement which would be fun to check out next time. Make your reservations ahead of time. Great experience overall and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Interior design was PERFECT but weather was so nice we decided to dine outside. Cocktails were delicious. We had roasted carrots, fries and buffalo chicken pizza and they all taste great. Especially the pizza is good, fresh and a little spicy. I prefer more onions with chicken pizza but overall it was good. Carrot we delicious but goat cheese under it wasn’t enough. Overall great experience. I’ll come here again to sit inside and will try the sister place Parlour for sure.
This was very much a treat. I stopped by on a whim to find this gem of a restaurant during the last night in the city and was very happy to be seated quickly and in one of the coolest dining areas that I’ve ever come across. I can see how it would be great for date night or just a more upscale night out. The ambiance was upbeat and lively, the service was attentive and informative and the food was extremely good. The staff were all impeccably dressed and professional. Shout out to Tyrell for his great recommendations and super welcoming demeanor. Loved the salmon and the hanger steak and cheeseburger were also very good. I tried a Rose cider and loved it. I know the Down Easter is also on their menu and also nicely balanced. I highly recommend for a great adult night out.
Absolutely stunning holiday decor! In love with the ambience, service, and drinks here. Ensure you make reservations if you plan to sit at a table. The waiter at the bar was friendly, fast and cheery. Other staff members were also in good spirits. Great vibes for couples or groups of friends. Would definitely come back if in the Midtown area.
Fantastic hidden gem. I was there before the pandemic. I had to check them out again and they didn’t disappoint. There are 2 places; Ragtrader & The parlour. Either one would be good for drinks, private event or just hangout with friends / family. The food is amazing and plenty of liquor to choose from. Great ambiance and service.Recommended dishesTuna Tartare
Interesting bathroom aesthetic aside, the restaurant had a nice feel to it and was great for a date night - though for more budget conscious folks you can definitely spread your dollar further elsewhere. The broccolini was pretty good, a little less char and it would've been perfect. The wings weren't my favorite but not bad. The fries were hot and well salted and definitely went better with the steak than I thought since it was on the less salty side by itself. Can't comment on the salmon personally but I was told it was good. Drinks were okay. Wheelchair accessibility: I might have missed it but the restrooms are down a flight or two of stairs with no elevator/lift. Worth noting that it might be inaccessible.
First of all, please note that The Ragtrader is what we had dinner at. And Bo Peep Cocktail and Highball Store is right next door that requires a separate reservation to get in - has live piano performance and cocktails what I was told. We had 2 rounds of drinks, appetizers beef tartar and deviled eggs, a pizza, and entrees. Everything was on spot and nothing was disappointing at all. Their alcoholic drinks are STRONG and really tasty. Definitely worth the money you paid for.
Popped in for a late lunch/early dinner as this place was close to our hotel while visiting for the weekend. Very nice welcoming ambiance and we were promptly seated. Unfortunately our table even for NYC standards was WAY too close to the next party and they made their dismay clear. Fortunately they got their check shortly thereafter and no one else was seated at that four top for the rest of our meal. The food itself was good. We had the ribs as an appetizer which we enjoyed and were grateful for as we were pretty hungry and probably wouldn’t have been quite full on just our entrees. The drinks we ordered and we enjoyed as well and felt they were fair for the prices charged which were very typical of NYC. Overall a pleasant meal but nothing that blew us away.
It is a good place for small groups' events as you can book a small area for your own group. I tried 4 types of their pizzas and all were good. The other dishes were okay. The place was packed when we were there and it looks as if it is always like that. Friendly and helpful staff.Food: 4/5
We waited a little bit for the food to come but everything was great! The cauliflower fritters were a nice surprise that was recommended to us! I had the artichoke and olive which was delicious and in my opinion was way better than the margherita! Overall great food and service!
