I stayed at The Recovery Village in Umatilla for 70 days and had a wonderful experience. There was equine therapy, canine therapy, and art therapy. The other classes were very informative, and most of the therapists are very skilled in their profession! The food was nice (there’s even steak sometimes) and most of the staff is friendly and accommodating.
I do wish to say, though, that the call center (which is separate from the facility) needs to be cracked down on. They misrepresent costs sometimes and say anything to get you into the rehab. They have good intentions, they’re trying to save lives, but they need to be more transparent.
Overall, it’s a wonderful facility. As long as you follow the guidelines and behave well, your stay will be extremely beneficial to your recovery. Having completed the program, I have continued on to their aftercare program in sober living (The Next Step Village) and am enjoying every moment. All the girls in the house are kind and I feel more confident in myself than ever! Make that call and admit yourself, it’s worth it.

A staff member actually tried to sell me heroin. I promptly declined! Don't go here!

I was at TRV for much more than 30 days through my own volition. I can say they saved my life! Does the "call center" exaggerate? Probably. But when they talk to you they are evaluating...and they get you there! Some of the furnishings need updating. More outdoor time should be planned...my God it's Florida! Detox was amazing. A male tech, Robert, took my vitals every hour. There are restrictons and rules which are necessary...it's a rehab! Without those it would be a bad spa. Some of the nursing staff are exemplary...there were two who ignored me when I had a medication reaction. One of these nurses spent her entire time on her phone while med passing. The therapists are fantastic and diverse in their approaches. Some of the BHTs are amazing. Particularly those who are recovering themselves. A few BHTs are disrespectful to older clients. The equine therapy is wonderful. I highly recommend this facility to those who come out of their OWN desire to recover.

I visited this facility recently and was blown away by how nice it was! The accommodations are spacious and include a large cafeteria/rec room, a gym, and even an art room. The staff were very professional and committed to the safety and wellbeing of their patients. I would recommend to anyone seeking help with addiction.
