I stayed here on 2.11.21 First I wish I could have gone down stairs to the club but I was tired. Clean establishment. Valet is prompt. Rooms aren't that big with king and beds are low.. Just FYI. I did hit my leg on the bed several times.. Wood sticks out... Showers were really good... Bathroom would have been great with larger mirrors..... Rooftop bar is definitely a nice vibe and it's covered now...... Check it out.. In my opinion halls are dark so I kept saying I expect to see ghost . Staff is amazing though especially the front desk. Friendly..... Definitely check the hotel out .. Ponce city market is close and a few bars and eateries..... Personally I disliked their TV package.
Hotel Clermont, what a major redo for an Atlanta staple. Being from the city it’s amazing to see how this hotel turned the corner! Soooo happy they kept Clermont Lounge I’d have to start protesting if they took it away! Clermont Lounge is the part of the Atlanta tour that everyone must go to see but it’s comes with disclaimers. Just good of fashioned quirky fun. I’ll let you experience it to understand why. Anyway, this review is actually about the bar and all this beauty. Had really good cocktails one of which is notably named “Stripper’s Real Name” nod to Clermont Lounge! The bar is sultry, dark, sexy, and private. Adjacent to the bar is a library lounge filled with games, up lighting, a photo booth and more seating. If you’re on a sneaky link sit on the bar side. Beautiful decor, great drinks, layered atmospheres. Didn’t hit the rooftop but will save for warmer months. Overall four stars for stiff drinks and unfortunately a stiff bartender.
Very comfortable, clean and great customer service. Location was very beneficial because of it's surroundings things to see and do. I recommend it and their rooftop lounge has amazing sunset sceneries.
Great rooftop, probably one of the best skyline view of Atlanta. Drinks are okay, not the best. Go there for the view. Went on a Saturday night, no wait time. Parking can be tricky, I assume they have valet if you’re fancy. Definitely recommend for the view.
We went with a group of 4 people at 4:00 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded at that time. Great views, lots of seating. The bartenders were super nice. They don't have too many options for cocktails on their menu. I tried the Feelin’ Frisky $12, Rock, Paper, Saler’s $13, and the Your Name Here $13. I liked the first two, but wasn’t a huge fan of the last. They definitely need to have food up there - at the very least, they need some snacks. It was really fun though and we'll definitely be back!
Amazing views! Parking is difficult to find and will be on the street in the neighborhood behind or across a busy street. Can get quite crowded. Lots of drink options, even mocktails for those of us that don't or can't drink.
The experience was really unfortunate here. There was a $5 cover to get up only to find out after we got up there a private party reserved half of the roof on the half that has the best views of the city. Someone should have mentioned that beforehand. Then the bar staff were barking orders at us as we tried to get out drinks. Finally there was a small sliver of a spot that had really nice views next to the private party by the bathroom which we hung out by to get some pictures but this was not in the private party spot. For some reason a small security guard came over and started YELLING at us that we had to move and that if we didn’t we had to get off the roof. I have never had worse customer service in atlanta and the over priced drinks aren’t special. If you want a better rooftop experience pay $5 more and go to the roof of Ponce City Market.
Great atmosphere. The drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but the views of the city make up for it. Getting in can be difficult if you wait too long into the evening to go as there is a fixed number of people that can be on the roof. Also, parking can be hard to find.
I mean, is it expensive? Totally. 4 veggie skewers cost $12 and the burger ran $20. Was the food delicious? It was...pretty good. The skewers were nice, although I preferred the "Korean" seasoning vastly over the "French/Provence" seasoning too tart. The patty in the burger was 100%, excellent and excellently cooked. Everything else about the burger was just okay good Boston Bibb lettuce and cheddar but nothing to write home about. And the chips were severely undersalted. But service was friendly and the views are great, so not much to complain about despite the high prices!
I would say this establishment could do better with their bar service, decoration, and music. They could create a nice ambience on the rooftop but it’s very simple, drinks were horrible, and there wasn’t any live music or music. I would no go again.
