What a great place - I loved it from the time we were stepping in. The atmosphere are decor is amazing and so modern. Also I have to say the service there is very fast and nice. We were sitting outside and also the outside area right next to the belt line is very comfy. We shared some starters which were very tasty. I especially loved the tuna tartar, so soft and full of flavour and the salmon taco - juice and well balanced seasoned. Then I had the scallops which were perfectly cooked and also the grids were so delicious. At the end we also shared a German Chocolate Cake which was a lot bit very good. Super nice place. Highly recommended going there while being in the city.
Great restaurants for group dinners. Loud and cheerful vibes, there’s live music which is always fun. Reservations are encouraged as it was packed. The menu is diverse with a lot of seafood and meat. I recommend ordering family style, portions are huge. For appetizers order the crispy duck leg, comes over a sweet pancake, the spicy mussels and the salmon chips. Our favorite entree was the brisket but portion was too much, probably could have shared between 3 people. For dessert go for the peach bread budding. Prices are high.
We made reservations for brunch and we were immediately seated when we arrived. It was raining outside so the covered valet entrance was a plus. The bartenders were very helpful. I recommend you try the Up In Smoke cocktail if you like bourbon. We ate some Nashville hot oysters that were delicious. The dish came with pickles that were flavorful and paired well with the fried oysters. A musician name Jasmine Janai was playing the guitar and singing, which enhanced the experience even more. The ambience was relaxed, elegant and charming. We will definitely be back again. Parking: Valet was $3
It was okay. The ambience is very nice, the outdoor seating area is nice, but once our food came we were bombarded with flies. The food was average to me. I ordered salmon chips and the salmon was cold and unseasonedthey serve it cold on purpose. All the food we ordered seemed overpriced and just not that good. I enjoyed the bread from the shrimp entree and the macaroni and cheese, I’d recommend those.
Talk about an experience that excites your taste buds, TWO did just that! I went in June and loved mu dining experience. We had the truffle deviled eggs and pork belly starters. I loved the pork belly so much, we ordered a second serving. The pineapple and guac paired with it was tasty. For the entrees, we had the Salmon over spinach rice, the pork loin, and rotisserie chicken! All such flavorful and generous portion sizes! The chefs there are definitely skilled
This was my first time to 2 Urban Licks. I enjoyed it! Three criticisms, and it isn't a real criticism because there was a reason......was that it took a long time to get our food!! We were a party of 16, but I noted the large parties around us were getting their drinks and appetizers, although they were seated after us, before us but that could have been the difference between an experienced server and a new one. And they were out of a lot of the alcohol choices done of the folks in our party wanted. Weird since it seems that the bar is one of the main attractions. But the drinks we did have were good. The valet parking was a little challenging too. Half of our party was unable to valet park because it was full. Parking can be challenging so be patient. With those things aside, I enjoyed the atmosphere friendly and hip and the decor which is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. There were water tables, neon lights and greenery. A large bar. Rugged tables. I loved the decor!!!! And once we received the food, it was delicious. I enjoyed the salmon chips as my appetizer and scallops as my entree. My husband enjoyed the fried oysters and the steak for the meal. Tasty and hot! **Note: parties over 8, one check and automatic gratuity, so keep that in mind if you want to have a large party. Parking: Go early if it's a popular night. They do offer valet.
This place has been around for ages and it hasn’t changed much, good. They’ve always had great ambience and good food. Expect to pay $40-60 per person but worth it. They often have live jazz or ambient bands playing . It’s the perfect date night spot but don’t bring a large group. Everyone I know that brings a group gets a bad experience. Keep it intimate . We got the salmon chips yum, served cold but good, Burrata cannot be missed they add a delicious jam to the cheese. We also got the salmon and scallops for dinner and they were perfect.
I got the Hanger Steak medium well, along with asparagus and potatoes, and it was very, very GOOD…. The salmon appetizer was also very good too. And, the staff was professional and courteous. I definitely will be back to experience this again!
Beautiful place for indoor and outdoor dining. Great patio space, quality craft cocktails, and the salmon chips were worth a second round. We mostly had small plates and drinks, but everything was flavorful and the service was solid.
A couple of weeks ago, I took my homegirl from NYC here and we had a blast! We didn’t realize that we made the reservation on Easter, so there was a lag in service but they were extremely good about checking on us. The food was amazing! We started with their famous Salmon Chips, a filling and flavorful appetizer that everyone in the in the restaurant was ordering. My bestfriend and I split her fried chicken biscuit that was so good, she went back to NYC to make her own! I got the shrimp and grits which were *chef’s kiss* booming with flavor, nice meat to grits ratio. The drinks were cute and I was able to play around with a few and they were fruity and tasty. I will definitely be coming back, hopefully I will try dinner but Brunch was too good.
