The Sky Lounge Hookah

I attended an event at this venue, and it was complete trash. The outside of this business is run-down, and the sign isn't big enough to read from any sort of distance. I honestly wouldn't have looked at this business twice. The inside was just as worn down. The even I attended was a Fetish Ball. Generally these things are supposed to have entertainers dressed in leather and latex, rope-tying demonstrations, suspension, gothic metal and electronica, some sort of punch bowl, a cash bar, maybe some tables where people in bondage gear can sit next to each other and talk over refreshments. I'm not sure what the $3 cover charge was for, because I was told that the DJs didn't get paid for their sets (one of them is a friend of mine), there were no decorations, no refreshments, and no entertainment. As soon as we paid our cover charge we were accosted by some random person and informed that this was a PG-13 event. You had to be 18 or older to get in, so this was a really stupid rule. This venue has couches, but no traditional tables and chairs. I heard from several sources that this event would have been a lot better if the owner hadn't vetoed everything. To sum up: Venue is gross, owner is greedy and cheap, there are better places to hang out.

Not very happy with my experience, most of the couches are busted. The dj was late and im addition to that he sucked. Worst dj ive had to listen too period. Plus the whole place is a hotspot for thieves. Probably won't go back. If your going to consider yourself to be a hookah bar your going to have to get a better building.

This place is fantastic, the people are nice, respectful, and generous. I'm definitely coming here once in awhile

Amazing atmosphere and the owner is beyond amazing!!! I went here for my 18th birthday and had a amazing time!!! Definitely coming again!!!
