Story

Our practice offers a different approach to dentistry. We believe that coming to the dentist does not have to be a difficult experience. Our doctors place a strong emphasis on patient comfort, and are always receptive to the patients wants or needs. There are two doctors here at The Smile Center. Dr Scott Parr performs general dentistry on patients of all ages. He also practices cosmetic dentistry, and implant placement. Dr Tara Frey practices general dentistry on all ages. She also offers orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign. Both doctors bring something unique to the practice, and are always looking for ways to update their education, and upgrade the office. They like to stay up to date on the latest dental technology. We are also a Center for Dental Medicine, which means that we recognize the link between your oral and your physical health. Staying up to date on your oral hygiene could actually save your life! Because comfort is so important to us, we offer several amenities to our patients to help make their visit a more enjoyable experience. When you book an appointment with us, you will be reserving your own private room for the duration of your stay. Each room is equipped with a flat screen television, where the patient can watch the channel of their choice. We also have headphones in every room, so patients can hook them up to the TV, and tune out any noises if they prefer. We have big fuzzy blankets so our patients can snuggle up and relax. Many of our patients doze off in the chair!
We work hard to try to rehabilitate our dental phobic patients. We realize that trust is earned, and trust is a big part of overcoming your fears. We do offer nitrous oxide, as well as valium if it is needed, and can even do your treatment under sedation if you prefer. Our staff is always friendly and accomodating.
