A hidden gem in Boston! Amazing collection of memorabilia and art in a fantastic setting. Eric, our tour guide, was an endless source of sports history including the ice-capades and Boston Marathon plus an enthusiastic ambassador for the museum’s mission.
Best $20 I spent in Boston. If you're a sports fan or a fan of sports history, you need to check this out. It's a guided tour only, and my guide Eric was outstanding!Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$16–20
My teen is a basketball fanatic and he was in a zone just seeing TD Garden!!! Our tour guide, Catherine Bogart, was AMAZING!!! She shared so much information and answered every question the kiddos asked. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sports Museum tour and are planning to return in the summer for the TD Garden tour.
Eric was an amazing guide. Went long, which was awesome! So much history there. A hidden gem.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$16–20
This was my first ever time on Boston. The museum was defiantly the highlight of my trip! our tour guide was Eric, he was amazing!! I highly recommend him, he was so sweetest person, even took us to some places that weren't included in the tour, but had great history behind it. So if you love learning the history, I highly recommend requesting Eric! He knows so much about the history and made me feel very included as a Canadian not knowing much history about Boston! I will defiantly be coming back and bringing others with me!
There's a bit of overlap with this tour and the TD Garden tour, but lots of great memorabilia. The staff is a bit unorganized, but if you get particular ones, they are extremely knowledgeable.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
I don't recommend this tour at all. If you want to know the stadium better get a ticket for the Celtics, staff will let you go near the court where the expensive seats are to take pics. As for the tour, as a Celtics fan the content was scarse and it had a lot of patriots and red sox content which has nothing to do with the TD. The guide wasn't great at all either, just limited to the program information, not involved in providing a unique experience and he walked too fast and started explaining the newer sections with people left behind.
Our tour guide Eric was awesome. Really had fun time and learned a lot.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Our family returned from a vacation in Boston a few days ago. I just wanted to take a moment to relate what I feel was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our sons are huge sports fans and one of the things they really wanted to do while in Boston was to see TD Garden. Our son learned we could take a "behind-the-scenes" tour and was very excited to see the Garden. We stopped by on Sunday but just missed the last tour of the day. The friendly museum staff suggested we stop back Monday morning if possible, which we did. We were extremely fortunate to go on the tour with Eric. He related that he has only been in Boston for a few months. It's quite obvious that he takes his job seriously, but we were all impressed at how professional, funny, knowledgable, informative, and engaging he is. Eric made an effort to get to know each member of the tour, answered many questions, and made the tour both educational and fun.
