This is a great joint for a show. Delightful staff! I love the ancillary bar room screen so you can keep an eye on the band. It's generally a smaller venue, which is nice. Expect a less intense crowd. It's still somewhat small regardless, plan on extra time. They keep it nice and clean.

Best venue in Utah.
Good sound.
Seating available if you want it(arrive early).
Up close and personal experience with artists if you stay down front.
Bars and bathrooms are clean.
Every time I have been there the show was sold out but the venue was not overcrowded. Love that.

This is my favorite venue for concerts. The size is just right (big enough for the energy to be great, yet small enough to be intimate), enough room to dance and move around, plenty of seating, the lines at the bar are quick, and they always have water out so you don't have to go through bar line if water is what you need. The bathrooms have enough stalls that I've never had a long wait. The merchandise table is easy to see and traffic flow passes it a lot, giving ample opportunity to check out "that one shirt" 5x before buying it. If this is your first time, the venue does get pretty loud. I recommend ear plugs if you don't want to damage your hearing. But, if you forget yours at home, the coat check usually has some for sale. If you arrive early enough there's parking in the lot, but if you don't, there's usually plenty of other parking spaces available within a 2 block walking distance.

Best venue in Salt Lake, hands down. If there's an artist you want to see and they get booked at the state room, you can't have a bad show. There's stadium seating behind the dance floor that's only about 20 feet from the stage so people who want to sit still have a fantastic view and the dance floor always has room to dance, even at a sold out show. The staff even discourage people from filming the show with their phones above their heads and obstructing the view for others. You can hold it in front of your body or not at all. Free coat check and no ticket fees, even online. Hands down the best venue in Salt Lake, doing so much right. Only really annoying thing is the no re-entry policy as I one time left my ear plugs in my car and they were out at the desk. No flexibility there. Friendly and amazing bar staff, $5 local drafts.

Really great venue. They have standing room along with nice seating. Seating is first come first served. Its set up like a theatre so the standing people dont get in the way of the view of the stage. Really wish this venue did more genres! Coat check was simple, and the bar is right above the seating and really convenient.
