The Surgical Weight Loss Institute of Kansas City

I had the roué n y gastric bypass in 2008, performed by Dr. Delatorre. I had complications and Dr. Delatorre and staff did a great job following up with me. Currently, ten years later, I'm having more complications and it was suggested I go back to Dr. Delatorre to discuss a solution. I've only had one visit with him but, I was impressed that he remembered me, the office staff were all wonderful, I only waited several weeks instead of several months to get in. Dr. Delatorre was thorough, took adequate time with me, answered all my questions, and started a treatment plan to work on my problem. I would definitely recommend him and the surgery despite the complications. I don't know that I'd still be alive today if I hadn't had the surgery.

Andrew is amazing, kind and truly caring. He is very through of expectations of nutrition and the processes you need to follow for your success. He made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. He and the whole group at Surgical Weight Loss are top notch professionals and truly believe in you and your success and will get you what you need to reach you goals.

I went in for my Pre-Op appointment and saw Andrew. I took my husband with me to this visit and the class. I wanted him to know what was going to occur. Andrew took the time and went over everything about the procedure and wrote my prescriptions for post surgery. I appreciated his personality when I gave the wrong month for my procedure:). The ladies in the front office are very friendly and have been extremely helpful when I have called. From the first visit with Dr. Fearing and the staff who got me started in the right direction for my Insurance, I have felt comfortable and confident that I chose the best for me in the KC area.
