So glad this has reopened since Covid. We had a fun time seeing the "behind the scenes" and the "pages" were so informative, friendly and professional! The employees in the gift shop were very nice and helpful. I recommend this as a must do when visiting NYC!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Such a great tour. We were lucky to have two fantastic NBC pages, Henry and Sarah, take us on a fantastic tour if the NBC studios. As we went on a Friday we got to see the almost completed SNL set as well as learning about all of the history of broadcast television at the Rockefeller Centre. There's also a fun interactive attraction at the end of the tour so be ready to take part! Highly recommended!
What a fantastic experience. Me, my wife and two boys are huge fans and this tour is must. Loved the tour guides who were on a NBC Graduate program. Amazing view of the stage and the action behind the camera. Bonus is the NBC News that you get a chance to host.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
What a fantastic day we had at NBC studios! The studio tour is well worth every penny. You get to see several studios and gain so much knowledge. Cross your fingers if you go soon that you get the page Ned. HE IS THE BEST!!! So much knowledge, so professional, and will give you all the tips you need for a successful trip to NBC. I hope his boss sees this review because Ned made our tour even more fun and deserves the acknowledgment.
Such a nostalgic and fun tour. Highly recommend for TV fans. We were very fortunate that to be able to visit Studio 8H, SNL, which I read was less common. Learned a lot, felt even more connected to my favorite NBC shows! Staff were all so sweet and fun! No photos/video can be taken on tour so plan to just be engaged in the moment! Your tour group gets a chance to create a fun video!
I’ll begin with confession that It wasn’t an ordinary tour at NBC Studios. I had a chance to see Jimmy Fallon live as an audience for his iconic Tonight’s Show!!! It’s a memorable experience for sure. I’m gonna give you one life hack if you want to see the Show which is always free, go inside NBC studios shop and ask if any standby tickets available. I believe they giving them away first come first serve early in the morning 9-10 am Monday through Friday. If there are any tickets left you will need to be back around 3pm and see Jimmy yourself!
Worth every penny! This was a really cool experience. We learned a lot about the history of NBC and visited the famous Snl studios. The tour was guided by two pages, who were really professional. It was about 90 minutes and really detailed. At the end, the group recoded like a small film. I can highly recommend it, it was a very cool experience!
This tour is okay. You get to see the SNL stage, but it lacks the true behind-the-scenes vibe you get at one of the LA-based tours. This tour is sanitized and you're kept far away from any TV action. The tour guide pages are nice and well-intentioned but lacked depth. I don't need to hear about the famous people you bumped into over again. A lot of folks will like this tour because it's the only one of its kind in NYC, but if it's TV & movie magic you want to experience, trek to Hollywood!
Absolutely fantastic tour! Amazing experience!!! The experience lasted 90 minutes. We went through 30 Rock and learned about the history of NBC as well as seeing the studios of SNL and the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The NBC Pages that ran our tour were professional yet funny and made the tour absolutely a great experience. At the end, the entire tour group got to shoot a segment of the Today Show, acting as both the talent and production staff. Super fun!
It was really entertaining. At least the tour in the building by the NBC pages. Don't bother with the walking tour by the outside company that includes the NBC tour in their package. That guide was a no show. We had to call to find out that, "they had a death in the family." But I highly recommend going on the tour put on by the pages.
