Honestly, I was DREADING going to this UPS Store due to past experiences but I must say that my yesterday afternoon changed my mind! I was greeted with a friendly smile and hello as I walked in the door which has never happened before. Francis immediately asked how she could help. She was very thorough in answering my questions and insuring my package was secure for shipping. My total visit may have been less than 15 minutes, but this is the first visit here that I didn't feel like I was bothering someone. As I was about to leave, Jamaree asked if I would be willing to leave a review about my experience and I told him I would be delighted to. These two individuals have eliminated my anxiety about going to this store in the future. I hope that their attitudes are contagious to the other employees and kudos to them for not taking ownership of the past bad ratings! GREAT JOB!
NEGATIVE 10 STARS! I called and spoke to James, the supposed manager. He came across as very lazy, rude, unprofessional, and incompetent, as well as completely uninterested in helping me. He sounded like I had awakened him from his nap. I let him know that I currently have a serious problem with my immune system, and I am not allowed to be around people, but that I needed to return a defective computer via their store. I asked him if someone could come outside the store and get the computer from me when it was my turn. He told me no, that I would have to call UPS to schedule a pickup which would cost me an extra $28. I was shocked because I have had no issues with other stores doing this, like Costco, for example. Then he hung up on me. I honestly do not know how someone like him could be a manager. I already let Corporate know that he is not good for business, as I wouldn't go there now for any reason - ever. They should look at all the negative reviews on here by selecting LOWEST and NEWEST.
My experience at this location was, in a word, amazing. I had procrastinated in sending an out-of-town holiday package and was afraid I had totally messed up this year. The staff - and I really would like to be able to name them personally, if I could - completely took away the anxiety I had about sending my package just a few days before Christmas. The process was easy, quick, carefully handled and arrived less than 24 hours at its destination and at a reasonable cost, I will add. I was absolutely blown away by both the professionalism and kindness I received that day and simply would not let the opportunity pass to say a big THANK YOU. I will by all means make this UPS Store my main shipping source in the future.
If I could give a zero, I would. My wife sent a leather purse, earrings, clothes for a granddaughter and a stuffed dog that belonged to another granddaughter who had left it at our house. It was packaged at the store. When my daughter received the package she opened it to reveal 4 packs of paper towels and a bag of opened moldy gummy bears. Everything was stolen. The UPS store has told us so many different things that they are no contradicting themselves. We have been lied to, not gotten in touch with and while we have been trying to get some form of refund, we now have been told a month and a half later that we need receipts. If you call UPS you get the Philippines and no one seems to understand.
The customer service at this location is terrible. The associates chatted amongst themselves instead of greeting their customers and then openly mocked a new associate for being non-binary and using they/them pronouns. Kindness is free and personal conversations should be off the sales floor. I'll go to FedEx next time.
This store advertises hours starting at 9am, arrived a 9:04. Store locked, could see worker inside setting up, they could clearly see us waiting. We left 10 minutes later with no service and still not open. At least 2 other customers left in disgust. If hours state 9am the staff should be there and ready to serve the customer. You are losing business due to poor service.
Went in to mail a package to my sister and was greeted by the smiling faces of Jamaree and Ashley. I don't normally leave reviews but they were so friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. I do believe they are trying to turn the store around.
Zero star. A friendly “good morning” would have made all the difference instead of scolding eyes and surly attitude when explaining my Amazon return should have been boxed up according to the QR code. Will not ever go back to this store.
Normally I have no problems with this location, they're pretty quick and pretty polite - Today I went in for an appointment I scheduled with a notary public days in advance and upon arrival was told that no notary would be available for at least half an hour. I do not understand the point of having online appointments available if they have nothing to do with the schedule of the notaries available at that store. And no, sending me to another store is not a solution... It's not like I sprung this appointment at the last minute either. Frustrated to have wasted my time.
I couldn't have chosen a better location while out of town, Frances is a breath of fresh air and very kind. She's very good at her job and it was an effortlessly transportation.
