The older man was VERY rude making snarky comments. I did an online order for document prints thinking it would be ready which was fine that it was not. My issue was his attitude. He was very rude during our entire interaction. I will NOT be returning to this UPS store. 0/10 recommend
Having recently retired down to the Columbia, S.C. area, this morning I had my first occasion to visit the UPS Store #4584, Located in: Rice Creek Village at 4611 HardScrabble Rd in Columbia The listed store hours were 8am to 7pm, and I was a bit skeptical so I called shortly after 8am to check if they were open, and indeed a friendly voice answered the phone and confirmed they were. Headed over there and made it by about 8:15AM, and thankfully made it there before the big rush of folks started to filter in. I had to have a package shipped, which the kind man Blake behind the counter was very helpful & thorough in making sure I provided him with everything he needed to ensure the package would reach it's destination as promptly & cost efficiently as possible. As it turned out, once I got home, the person I was sending the package to got back to me & said to be sure to include an Apt# to the address which wasn't included originally so back to the UPS store I go, and Blake immediately recognized me, & offered to revise the address, generate a new tracking label & have me on my way with the new receipt + Tracking#. When I left the store, there were at least another three or four people queued up waiting for service, so no doubt this is a very busy location, yet I must say the service & attention I received gave me confidence that not only will the package reach it's destination in the expected time frame, but through Blake's actions & customer service afforded me, they earned my respect & business through their actions, and I will definately be back to this UPS Location again when the need arises.
If I could give this location an F - I would..There is an older gentleman there and a middle aged curly hair woman working at this Hardscrabble Location. RUDE RUDE RUDE ..its ridiculous how they treat customers..if you wake up with a nasty attitude stay home or find a new job..period!
The owner of this store wife was unprofessional, unskilled, rude and when she tried to fax my paperwork she snatched it out of the tray because she forgot to input front and back. By snatching by paperwork out the tray she tore and crumbled my mother’s original DEATH CERTIFICATE! She didn’t apologize but try to hide it with the rest of the other papers. Disgusting behavior!!!!
Google indicated they close at 7PM updated by business seven days ago - showed up at 5:33PM, type written sign on the door indicating reduced store hours - Open light still on, and employees literally made “go away” hand gestures from inside as I was reading the updated hours sign. Prior two times going to this location was utter chaos. Lesson learned - I have ZERO problem driving an extra 10 minutes to a store run by competent employees.
Not a big fan of their covid policies the whole standing outside thing is weird, especially as sometimes they enforce it and sometimes they don't, but I'm guessing the policy is from corporate But I really do like this store for my amazon returns! Always treated with kindness, and fast service once at the counter.
They lied to mom. She paid for an expedited package that they told her would arrive on a certain date. They did not deliver on what she paid for and when she questioned them about it they were rude and condescending. They took zero accountability and made no ameliorate the situation. All they did was take steal her money for a service they did not fulfill. I do not recommend supporting this awful branch.
These are the most rude people I have ever come across. After 5 terrible experiences all customer service related, I’m done with them. I’ll drive 10 mins further and pay more money to avoid this location. Hell, I’d hand deliver a package personally before I ever step foot in this store. They are also mask holes, don’t open their door unless you have a mask on and a hazmat suit. They obviously don’t believe in the vaccine! Previously had better experiences at this location, but lately service has been mediocre at best. I ship regularly for business several times a week and lines and service have been long and slow. Also, employees lack knowledge—such as having to tell them that next day air comes with its own UPS envelope and denial of USPS drop offs. I believe corporate guidance and training would improve customer experience and service.
Would have rated higher because I always have a positive experience , but they had a store policy change and they no longer take large boxes for usps but it's not posted anywhere. I stood in line 15 minutes+ with large box in the cold as they only allow 5 customers in at a time. Once inside I found out they would not accept box for shipping USPS & I had to take my box to post office. I gave them three stars because the young lady helping me allowed me to use dolly to transport my box back to my car in the rain. She was exceptionally nice and apologetic, and I know it wasn't her fault the store changed their policy with no notice to customers.
