The Waterfront Restaurant

The best part of our meal was the hostess. She was lovely and very friendly. The bloody Mary, I ordered I had to return. It tasted like shrimp and horseradish. The server MATT was extremely disappointing. He was only concerned about turn and burn service and took forever to bring us our new drinks and never checked on us until after our meal was finished. My husband's Hamburg was raw and the bun was soaked , he had to eat with a fork. I ordered the crab cake and it was just OK. When Matt picked up the check , he made a point to come back and be extra rude to us. Over priced sub par food and terrible server

FANTASTIC server (Jessica)!!! She was cheerful, friendly, and Very honest about the selections. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees she recommended were suitable for a last supper. I highly recommend the lobster bisque, fried green tomatoes, and honey mustard crusted salmon. A meal to die for. I do recommend making a reservation ahead of time to avoid a long wait.

Service was good and so is food, but if you’re a person that likes to have a nice cold beer at the end of the day, this is NOT the place where you’ll find it! Had 3-4 beers all not very cold, almost warm.. had to walk to the bar to personally talk to the bartender and ask for a cold one, his reply was, “they’re all like that” ... THEN DONT GIVE THEM OUT!.. anyways get an iced drink instead i suppose.

This place was amazing! Say on the outside covered porch, nice and cool. Food was delicious. I had the pork carnitas, very yummy. Kids liked theirs too. Also thought the price was very reasonable. New favorite in the island

Atmosphere, location, food and service was excellent! Fun yet relaxing so near the beach. Wonderful with friends! Would love to have the recipe for slaw & pineapple side please. Then I could share that great taste with my fellow Texans.
