Thomas Jefferson Park

This park is pretty good. It is clean, seems like a friendly place. It has a nice variety of activities built-in such as the baseball field, swimming pool, handball and basketball courts, dog park, it even has a small skate park! A very good thing is that there are several marked police cars scattered throughout to provide security and a cop car drives through about every half an hour or so. Good place to go alone, with friends or family gatherings.

I love walking around the park and crossing over to the east river to walk along the trail. It's peaceful and you just feel close to nature.

Has a recreation center with a pool. A large play area for the kids. a skate park. Handball court basket ball court 2 baseball fields . Soccer field and race track. A small dog park and you can bbq there. I give it 3 stars because it gets very crowded in the summer and well people don't pick up their trash. At night its infested w rats looking for some leftovers.

Great park to workout at, especially for cardio. I jump rope on the track field and workout at the monkey bars from time to time. Also, they have a huge public swimming pool.

My childhood park a block from where I grew up in. This park looks AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS now!!! I can't believe the renovations, police presence day and night (Amen), and park rangers. Lots of surveillance cameras finally!! Family friendly NOW. No loitering, littering drinking, or you get arrested.
