Three Ships Coffee Roasters

My husband & I have been coming here several times a week for the past 7 months & we are NEVER disappointed. The staff is always friendly & the products are consistently great in taste. My husband gets the cappuccino almost every time & I enjoy the local Pungo latte (fall/winter was a sweet potato simple syrup & spring/summer is strawberry). He has gotten their black coffee before & while the taste was good overall, it was a little too light roasted for his flavor preference. We also eat their hand pies & biscuits which are fantastic too! This is hands down the BEST place for coffee in Hampton Roads. You will not be disappointed to visit once, twice or even several times a week like us!

Legit coffee. They roast and have full cafe service out of this quaint, tasteful space. Five stars for customer service, five stars for coffee quality. I came here during a mural fest and there’s an awesome mural (photo op!) on the side of this building. Strike up a conversation with the barista and you’ll probably learn something!

A very interesting coffee & espresso shop. They not only local roasters but also make all their flavors in house from scratch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We love local roasters and walked about a mile from our hotel to get something. It was worth the walk. They make their macchiatos the original way espresso and foam only. Bad part for me was the don't offer them with flavoring. I may give it a try next time we're here. We got lattes that were good. Their roast seems to be fairly smooth with fruity notes. They have a wide range of drinks and they all are unique. My wife got a latte flavored with sweet potatoes and other spices. Sounds odd but it was unique in a good way.

An awesome coffee place with a lot of new options to try from which you don't see everyday. It had good quality and taste. If ambience is your thing, try this place. It has both indoor and outdoor spaces. It is a good place to work, study or chill. Customer friendly place. They also have happy hour every day in the morning from 7-9. A good place to start your day with!

This place is good.. They were out of cold brew last time I went, which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. I work nearby so I would give them another shot. Since they were out of the cold brew, I ordered a black coffee, small... Paid a whopping 3+ dollars for a small black coffee.... Definitely on the pricey side. The place has a really nice vibe though and I think that it's worth the extra bucks to enjoy a coffee in a shop with a good vibe.
