Ordering a cake from that bakery was a horrible mistake and I highly recommend that everyone do their research first, before potentially experiencing a major disappointment on a big day like I have. I placed my cake order about a week in advance and they assured me I would be able to stop by after work to pick it up (4:30pm). The day I was supposed to pick up the cake, they called me and said they NEED me to come pick it up sooner because the owner would be closing the bakery a few hours early for personal reasons. The short notice was a huge inconvenience for me because I was forced to leave in the middle of the work day to pay for the cake. When I got there, staff didn't seem apologetic at all and the girl told me the cake would be ready in "a couple of hours." I couldn't leave work again and had a friend pick up the cake for me a couple hours later, per their request. When she got there, staff was very rude to her, telling her they never said the cake was ready for pick up yet and that she had to wait. When the cake was finally ready, it was placed in a box that was designed for a much shorter cake. It was half open, exposing it to dirt and air for the next few hours of the day. Because the cake barely fit in the box, they attempted to halfway close it and as a result, half the icing came off the side of the cake that was pressing against the cover of the box. As if that wasn't bad enough, the design wasn't even close to what I had requested and looked as if a 7th grader attempted to do it. Despite all this I was hoping the cake at least met my expectations for taste, but at that point I wasn't shocked that it tasted as bad as it looked and we ended up throwing it out and picking up a cake from Acme. It was clear they rushed through it and put very little effort into making it . My whole experience was a mess and it definitely wasn't worth all the hassle and inconvenience they put me through. Their lack of professionalism and careless attitude was unacceptable. It is quite clear that they expect the customer to work around them. I would never go back again if they were the only bakery in Dover.

I highly recommend you not going to this bakery. I've some bad experience with them from old bake goods to bad customer service to A unplease cake..... I've gotten cookies and they taste staled as well has the brownies I had....my friend order a cake and it was a diaster ...so embarrassing to present....Bad costumer service not friendly at all..... I'm very unpleased with that bakery....very unprofessional....I suggest no one go there ....Place needs help

My first experience with here was TERRIBLE. i let the people know i needed the order before 430pm and i ordered at 9am. I got my cupcakes at 450pm and the person they were for had already left. They forgot one of my special order cupcakes, and one box of cupcakes was ruined because a lot of them were overturned since the boxes dont have dividers or holders for a dozen. Im very dissatisfied. The only good thing about the order was getting a military discount and free delivery since i called on their anniversary. So late delivery, poor presentation, forgotten items, no proper communication (i had to call several times for updates) so i give them 1 star. Not gonna get my money again.

What I ordered was very messy. I'm not sure why they even put them in a box with how bad they looked. The gentleman working was not sure how he could help since the manager wasn't around. I left my number for her to call me, but never heard back. These were for my daughter and son's bd party at school the next day. I had to then run to Wal-Mart and just buy cupcakes. Due to the level of care they put into making the cake pops and the fact that no one called me back, I will not return. First and last time, unfortunately.

Do not recommend! My girlfriends wedding cake was a disaster! The cake was suppose to be delivered at 2:00pm but did not arrive until 7:00PM. The caked looked horrible! The top slid off, the icing was melted and the bottom of the cake was burnt. It tasted horrible and looked even worse. Oh and let's not forget it was delivered in a plastic top to an appetizer tray. The cake was still warm so we knew that they forgot to make it and threw it together and then dropped it off. Would never recommend using them for a wedding cake. I have had their cupcakes and there is nothing special or tasty about them either. Poor customer service.
