Tompkins Square Bagels - Avenue A

Great selection of tofu vegan cream cheeses. The garlic and herb is my personal favorite. They have a gluten free bagel option as well which taste pretty good but is an expensive up-charge. It was an additional $4 on top of the regular price of a bagel. The tofu cream cheese also cost extra as well. Spent $25 on three bagels!

So so good. These were amazing, sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel and a roasted cinnamon apple cream cheese on a plain bagel had I noticed the french toast bagel I would have tried it on that instead! I just may cave and order some on goldbelly one of these days when the craving hits.

The bagels were ok. They weren’t bad at all but I’ve had better. I do wish they allowed a small dine in area. On brutally cold days, it’s hard to eat outside. They do seem to make their own cream cheese.

So good bagels and so much variety of cream cheese for non vegan… for vegan they have 5-6 flavours of tofu based cream cheese.. although line was big but it was nice flavoured

Had the onion, everything, and French toast bagel. All were quite good. Where this place really shines is the cream cheese. The bacon scallion and the roasted apple cream cheeses were fantastic. A bit pricy at $4 to $5 for a bagel with cream cheese though.

Had a lovely experience at this bagel spot. Staff was friendly and made it feel welcoming. Loved the atmosphere, endless flavors of cream cheese I even saw a french toast bagel? May have to try next time. The muffin are made in house and tasted yummy. Will be coming back for my next bagel craving.

Is the wait super long? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes. If you like lox then I recommend getting your bagel with the pastrami cured nova. Get a coffee too. The attached photo is an everything bagel with pastrami cure nova and scallion cream cheese.

Favorite bagel place in NYC! Always go for everything bagel, cream cheese, lox onions, tomatoes and capers. Never disappointed! Enjoy this awesome place

It took me a little longer time to wait for my bagels get ready. But it tasted really good. Coffee was very light.
