Top Care Nails

Not only did I get cut twice with the nail buffing tool and the hangnail clippers (not to mention the multiple spots left stinging on my hand), but the hang nail clippers along with their nail clippers and nail-bed-receding tool are all products that get reused over and over and over, even my manicurist confirmed this. 9/10 salons open new packs right in front of you. She also did not apologize. I now have to worry about my health because I got cut with these foreign objects from a dirty, dirty nail salon, but that's what I get for not reading reviews first.

I went to Top Care nails to get my nails done for prom, I had an appointment and it still took about an hour for them to get to me. When I sat down they asked if I wanted long or short nails, I said short, and they gave me long nails. They also filed my cuticles which hurt and when I pulled my hand back they continued to file my cuticles. (you're not supposed to cut or file your cuticles because it can cause infections) They also didn't ask me if I wanted gel on my nails or not, (I did not) so I was out almost $20. ($45 total). They do have a student discount, but you have to bring your school id in with you. The best thing about my nails is the color. It's a pale baby pink, but I wish they had asked me what I wanted before they did my nails.

I had a great experience at Top Care Nails! A couple weeks before I went to Top Care Nails, I went to a different nail place in Bangor and they made my nails look absolutely horrendous. When I went to get my nails fixed at Top Care Nails they did a phenomenal job!

I have been to Top Care twice since march of this year. I had a pedicure both times. The first was awesome! My feet felt amazing and toe nails looked great for weeks, the second time I went I was not so happy with the service. The whole thing was very rushed and not relaxing at all. I chose to get the callus remover added in to the normal pedicure. The tech rubbed my toe so hard it burned it and rubbed my skin raw. Needless to say days later my toe still hurts and is red and scabbing over! :(
