Touching Hearts At Home

After two very disappointing experiences with other providers, we were lucky to find Touching Hearts for in-home care for my 93-year-old mother. The companion aid was terrific in all aspects of what we required, and, unlike other agencies, the owner, Shannon, really goes the extra mile and it was clear throughout that she really cares about her clients. Highly recommended!

I am hesitant to even give them one star! This is the most sophomoric company in health care. They DO NOT SEND COMPETENT WORKERS, and those that do a good job, they will run away! The office staff is totally unprofessional, they do just enough to get by to stay in compliance. If your loved one needs care, please consider selecting someone else. By no means do not waste the time in interviewing them. My loved one has had 18, yes, 18 caregivers in a years time. They were commissioned to help with bathing, light meals ie; lunch and breakfast and most of their workers couldn't even cook an egg, and would burn toast. As for light housekeeping, they struggled to make beds, or properly clean bathrooms. Management has said it has a difficult time in hiring/retaining people. But the issue is also, that those you do have are not properly trained. So in your consideration for a care giving company, I would strongly suggest if you are looking at this one, to keep looking!
