Toy B Ville Napa

This toy store is one of a dying breed of local toy stores. Stores like these have been largely supplanted by national chain toy stores, which are in turn being supplanted by online stores like Amazon. And as you'll see if you visit Toy B Ville Napa, that's a loss to us all. Unlike chain toy stores, you won't get endless, sprawling aisles of toys here. Yet, the diversity of toy selections that they cram into the store is remarkable. Because of the footprint of the store, you won't find dozens of each item on the shelves. Instead, you'll find the most eclectic collection of toys in every nook and cranny of the space. The end result is that I ended up finding and purchasing toys that I would never have thought of in any other store. The icing on the cake is the staff, who apparently delight in going above and beyond. They dispensed helpful advice, were patient as we browsed the store, and even offered complimentary gift wrapping. This store may be hundreds of miles from my home, but I can't wait to visit it again on my next trip to Napa.

Quaint local Napa business. Unfortunately everything has quite a markup to pay Napa rent rates.
