Toys"R"Us

Well sadly, this store on Johnston street is closing it's doors forever . I went shopping for birthday presents and there is still a wonderful selection of just about everything they have always carried. Minus the LOL doll. Which I don't mind them being out of stock. In fact, they are also out of stock at three of the Walmart locations in Lafayette and Broussard. The prices at Toysrus were cut at 30% off the majority of the dolls, Legos, some Melissa and Doug , my all time favorite toy line, and some of the kids furniture and bedding, Oh and diapers and baby clothes also were reduced.Of course the higher end merchandise is still high but with a slight discount. I'm sure it will all be on clearance eventually. Also there is discount charts on most shelves so that helps us slow people figure out how much we can buy without upsetting one of the kids.

Dirty bathrooms,the nursing room smelled of dirty diapers and there was poop on the floor. I love toys r us and hate to see them shut down,but this bathroom was the worst.

Great selection of toys and baby items. All the accessories necessary to make young children dreams come true. Video games, action figures, and more. We're going to lose a legend.

Employees are always friendly and happy, when we have been! Shelves are well stocked this is one of the nicer toy's r us stores we have visited and we have been to several. Events are always well organized and fun for kids. You can't beat the excitement for kids that comes from visiting a giant toy store, Walmart and Target and Amazon will NEVER be as fun as toys r us! I'm a toys r us kid FOREVER!

My husband and I went to Toys "R" Us in December 2017 for Christmas presents. The place was like a mad house. We found everything we were looking for and a couple of things we hadn't planned on buying.I didn't find the trampoline that we wanted for my 18 month old grandson so I went home, found it online and we checked store pick-up. In less than 20 minutes I got an email that it was ready in store for pick-up. Apparently I looked in the wrong area when I was in the store. Only took about ten minutes to pick it up. I was very impressed with the service we had during all of our visits during the 2017 Holiday season.
