I read the comments, this place sounds nice. I would suggest it to all my friends except that its in Vermont which is filled with a bunch of Canadian bull crappers who are socialist. They will give you money if you write good comments but they will take all your freedom because of communist bull sh**. Vermont and California is what is wrong with America and this is why we can't have nice things . Have Fun! Be safe.

Rented out a "non-smoking" room for two nights. the motel owner was very kind and accommodating. However, the room smelled as if a smoker had LIVED in it for years. Cigarette burns in the comforter and sheets and could barely breathe in the room. Heater/AC unit right above the bed pumped dirty air into an already smelly room making it so congested. I left this room wreaking like cigarette smoke and literally sick with a sore throat for two days.

Flat screen TV's, one of the cleaner and more taken care of places in Rutland, plus one of three hotels in the area that has weekly rates. Friendly owner as well.
Rodeway Inn next door is $220, but they have old TV's and WiFi that is slower than DSL, not to mention constant issues with flooding of rooms/giant holes in walls (where AC once was) that aren't covered/no heat or thermostats stuck on ungodly warm temps/loss of or just no power with no chance of being moved or getting a refund/incompetent staff.. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. It's not worth saving a few bucks because you'll be in for the worst hotel stay of your life.
On the other hand The Travel Inn here has a great owner, only $55-$75 more a week $275 a week (single bed) or $295 (two beds/some are actually two bedroom rooms), just an overall good experience.
The ONLY issue I've really had is dealing with loud neighbors: loud porn sounding sex at 530am next door that woke my fiance and I up and then kept us up as their headboard was slamming against our wall. The wall a few inches from my head that's on a pillow trying to sleep.. I pounded on the wall, yelled quite loud, even banged on their door for a minute to get them to quiet down as I work nights and had just fallen asleep shortly before this.. and the people upstairs let their children run back and forth and jump off of the bed like they live in a jungle gym.
So let's talk about the details of: Most hotels offer a free breakfast, mostly consisting of yogurts and some cheap muffins/toast, eggs and bacon/sausage. Travel Inn here has no free breakfast: they provide free Dunkin Donuts (assortment of donuts) for breakfast and there's some Ramen noodle packets if you're hungry throughout the day. The TV service is Xfinity by Comcast and includes your normal cable channels (SyFy, MTV, AMC, Fox/FX, etc) plus HBO. The TV's are locked down to the wall so there's no positioning the TV other than tilting it forward or back. The HDMI ports are exposed so you can plug a PlayStation or Xbox or any game console/laptop up to the TV. The shower is 3x3 with no tub which makes it extremely hard for my 6ft tall self to wash anything lower than my waist. The room has a combo AC/Heater which comes in handy.. this review is from Winter and I haven't been cold once. I only wish the bathroom had a heater in it too. The bed is beyond comfortable, it's amazing, I sink right into it like I'm laying on a cloud. I roll over at night and the fiance doesn't even notice. The WiFi here is nothing to write home about but they at least have extenders in place so no matter where you are you get wifi on the hotel property. That's a pretty good feature considering most hotels in Rutland have dead spots in their WiFi coverage.
Overall, if you're looking for a weekly stay, Travel Inn is your hotel.
