Travelodge by Wyndham Grand Forks

When we got to our room the heat was not on. It took about 45 min till it was warm enough to get in to bed. While waiting for the room to warm up we had to go get light bulbs. while my husband and i where in bed watching TV our room door opened and then shut, nothing was said and when my husband went to the door no one was there. i went to the front desk and told the manager (Les Nelson) what happened. Les told me it was him checking rooms, we ended up leaving because we didn't feel SAFE.

Good location. Pet friendly, which was a bonus. Rooms were outdated. Pool area was out of order. Overpriced when you add on the $25 non refundable pet deposit, came to $120 for one night in a low quality room/hotel. The staff was friendly.

Nice HUGE room. Motel needs some upgrades. Several maintenance issues. But overall nice place for good price.

Bad place for a long term lodging. They will throw away your stuff, make mockery of you and claim they are not responsible for any of your stuff even your labtop you left in your room when you go out. If you complain, they tell you you can leave and then call police on you and order you to leave with a full refund and then later change their words to say because you are on monthly rate, you have no refund. They ask you to leave because they have right to refuse service, they claim. but fail to refund your money. Fruits are not been served in their breakfast during the week. They only provide it on weekends and you dear not say anything to them. Never recommend. Staff are not friendly. You have no one to complain to because the entire staff member are blood related. They will treat you like you are nobody and make u very uncomfortable. The carpet is so old and smell everywhere. You can smell it right when u walk into the room. No coffee pot inside the room. No cleaning service for weeks. You are on your own. Your credit card are charged the first day you moved in not when you check out. They are money hungry people.
