Hilton Garden Inn Grand Forks-UND

I have stayed at this hotel twice on business. Very nice accommodations. East access to and from the airport. Grand Forks is easy to get around in but for people accustomed to warmer climates if you are visiting in the winter the weather can be quite harsh. Some of the hotels have power outlets in the parking lot for engine block heaters but you will have to park early to get one. If you are going to be there for an extended stay weekends can get very busy due to visitors from Canada shopping in the GF.

Decent hotel. Hard to notice from the street. We had two big events catered here. Accomadating staff and great amenities. Will book here again for large events.

Typical Hilton Garden, looks to be newly remodeled or at least updated inside. Beds are comfortable, pillows not so much. Made to order breakfast is satisfactory nothing special. Dinner is good, bar has an ok selection that at least covers all the essential lineup of alcohol. Pool is descent, hot tub is a plus. Workout room is small but has enough to satisfy.

Friendly staff; clean facilities; I love the layout of my room the best. I loved the long counter top where I could spread out out my stuff. Even with the TV and my personal belongings, there is still plenty of space left for my desk. The reading lights between the 2 bed is a nice touch, instead of glaring overhead lights. Bathroom is spacious, plenty of counter top space. There are these pull-out shelves which I believe..nice touch. There is a separate are for the microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. I liked everything about my room.

Very fast check-in process compared to other hotels. I was very impressed and relieved to breeze through after a long day. Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean building, clean rooms, clean smell. Great location within ten minutes of numerous restaurants.
