Make reservations 2 months prior to the Republican convention. Specifically asked for and was told I received one of the rooms reserved for us at $129 per night. Called back the week of the convention and was told no they weren't going to honor that. And that I would need $630 to get a room that weekend. Luckily our local rep was able to find me another room at the proper price. This is by no means a $300 a night Hotel not even close. I've been in all 48 states and Canada I know five star and this is not it.

If you are going to Grand Forks to visit a UND student, it's a good place to stay. It's clean, close to the campus and they serve a decent breakfast. The breakfast consists of the normal pastries, but they also have eggs, sausage, make your own waffles and juice. The Baymont Inn and suites also has guest laundry, a pool area and a (very) small workout room. All in all it's a nice place and I'd stay there again.

Great price for the room. Great staff. Pool was small but other then that all around good experience. Awesome location as well.

The pool seemed to have high chemical levels and the beds could have been a little more comfortable. But the staff were very friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was very good. The rooms were of average size, very clean,up to date and modern. The shower had amazing water pressure which is very rare in any hotel let alone a lower priced "budget" hotel. Will definitely stay here again if ever in Grand Forks again.
