Budget Inn Express Grand Forks

Do not stay here. It was horrible. When I came to check in the front door was locked. I had to stand out at night in North Dakota winter till the owner came. The price I ended up paying was more than it says online. the key card takes forever to work. the door to the bathroom was just barely hanging on and hard to move. Just stay anywhere else.

We rented a room got charged 40$pet deposit and they only gave us one key well the key got locked in the room with our dogs at 10:07 pm went to the office closed, so we went to find a phone at 1120 pm stopped at the gas station he called for us they answered 1 hung up so went back rang bell knocked on back doors parked in our car went and he called again at 20 til 1 am no sense dogs locked in there we had to go rent anothrr room so 8600 for not even getting to stay it stunk no refrigerator or hot water but I was able to have my dogs well found out highly over chargedand with my other room 161.night holiday lots better asked office in morning we are ladies we sleep, well you can't enter your room or rent a room after 10pm

The worst ever by far.. the office personal nd owners were drinking while on duty.. then the cops had to be called.. that wasn't the last of them later that night they were called again.. I was accused off smoking in my room and that I would have to pay 250.00 they were drunk.. never ever again. Will I patron Budget inn again..

The front desk manager tried to scam my wife and I out of $400. We stayed there a month and she came and told us to give her $400 for a deposit today. She told us 6 different reasons for it. We threatened to call the police and an attorney and recorded her at which point she cussed us out and stormed off. She robbed us. Housekeeping never cleaned the room. She tried to go through our stuff. She stole narcotic prescription pills from us. Needless to say, we're suing them. I'll be contacting the owner. Don't stay here!!! This place is a meth Haven with filthy ass management.

We absolutely loved this place! Leanne is an awesome, kind, and helpful new manager. Everything worked as it should, the room is spacious and just funky enough in decor to make it a better stay than your average chain motel. The bathroom is tiny, but everything worked. We loved being able to sit outside of our room and enjoy the quiet. The grounds are lovely if you want to poke around. The pool is heated, so don't be afraid to take a dip early or late when the temperatures dip in the early and late summer. The weekly rate cannot be beat! We paid $30 a night for a terrific stay. Leanne is one of the reasons we fell in love with Grand Forks. We will definitely return as long as she is there.
