Tres Jalapenos

Came on a Friday afternoon and it was totally empty, except for one staff member by the counter. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Our server was pleasant and polite. The chips and salsa that came out first were sooooo yummy and addictive. My bf ordered a steak burrito and said it was prob the best burrito he has ever had lol. I ordered the green enchiladas and was disappointed that it came out cold :/ the flavor was so so but prob would’ve been much more enjoyable if it was warm.

I always ordered from here. Today will be the last. I paid 15 bucks for an avocado!!! I ordered a taco salad they do not ask what kind.. got whatever they had left over by the time it got here the pinto beans that I did not order no option this time it seems.. soaked through the shell. So no I didn’t order soup… thanks for ruining dinner!!!

My mom and I stopped here after spending a few hours shopping in the Italian Market. It was toasty inside, service was great, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced! We didn't order a lot and the food came fast. We enjoyed our experience here. And we'll be back for some more steak tacos!

Poor service. I decided to give them another try after waiting almost 2 hours for my takeout last time. On Ubereats it said my order was out for delivery, about 50 min later and nothing so I called the store. The person said my order was about to leave the store and it would arrive in 15 minutes. Not even a minute later I get a call from the delivery person that they’re outside. So it had left the store prior to that. I have no idea what the delivery people were doing but there were 2 of them. The same happened last time where I had to call the store and remind them to deliver my order. If I hadn’t who knows how much longer it would’ve taken. The shrimp taco “salad” was not a salad. Could tell it had been sitting out a while and I got some shrimp with lots of cheese for my meal. I don’t like writing negative reviews but I won’t be ordering again. They have received multiple complaints about their bad service but are doing nothing to improve it.

Food is delicious! My husband is a chef and recommended this place. Only complaint is,he put it in for 6 pm and it came at 3 and nobody called to say it was on its way.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY from here. The owners will lie about timing and expectations however the food is awesome so I would recommend going or picking up. Food 5/5 service 1/5 to equal an average 3/5

Tres Jalapeños is my favorite Mexican food in all of Philly. I'm from Texas—the Mexican food scene is stupid strong in both authentic and tx mex. I think the enchiladas here are incredible, and the salsa is by far and away the best in the whole town.

Food was supposed to be here in 30 minutes. After an hour, I called and they said 10 minutes more. 20 minutes later, I called again and got hung up on twice. I eventually got my food with no explanation or apology and it's cold and bad. Avoid at all costs. Trash food and service.

Best authentic Mexican food in the area! My favorite is the pork & plantain platter - simple dish, but so tasty! Kid-friendliness: High chairs available for the little ones. Wheelchair accessibility: The building has a concrete ramp up to the double side doors.

i dont taste the love in the food like other places in the neighborhood. also the meat isn't seasoned very greatly, side sauces are also bland :/
