I came across Dr. Gary Trey as one of the most friendly, conversational, caring, receptive and incredibly intelligent doctors. He cured me of my acid reflux issue which was going on for close to 5 years. While I was not entirely sure on his diagnosis, the test results and his treatment regimen later on perfect to put all my doubts to rest along with his exceptionally understanding and explanatory demeanour. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Primary care physician or GI related treatment.
He didn't believe me when I said I was retaining water. I literally had to show him the pericarditis diagnosis on my chart because he did not review my information or labs before my appointment. I then had to fight with him to acknowledge the abnormal lab values. I had a good visit with a PA at this medical group but I do not recommend Dr Trey unless you are a man because apparently women with empirically abnormal lab results 'just have anxiety' and don't deserve thorough and fair treatment. He did eventually order another heart ultrasound to check the pericarditis but I had to argue with him to do it. That is not an experience you want to have when you are already very ill. I would not come back or recommend this place. - Update, another Dr took me seriously and it turns out I have liver failure and hepatitis a
I am long a time patient of Doctor Gary Trey. I am so grateful to have this honorable man as my physician. I can't say enough about him! He is the most respectful caring doctor . In addition he has saved so many lives many of which my friends and family that i have referred to him. Thank you Doctor Trey for me everything you do!
Dr. Trey is an incredibly warm and caring physician. He called me back within an hour of my calling his office. He prescribed exactly what I needed and was willing to email me information to make sure I understood his directions. I am most grateful to him for helping me with a condition I had for years.
I could not recommend Dr. Trey more highly. He is always incredibly thorough and considerate of my concerns. My procedure with him was comfortable and he took his time to reassure me, explain the expectations beforehand and the results after. His staff are also very personable and accommodating. Dr. Trey is the best!
Gary Trey is a very good doctor! I have encountered him in my work capacity and when I needed a GI doctor for myself and at one point, my husband whom he was able to diagnose right away after a previous misdiagnosis he was the one I turned to. He is patient and explains everything clearly he also uses pictures in anatomy books, which makes it very visual, and most importantly, I am confident that he will know or figure out what the problem is. Dr. Trey uses dictation for his notes right in from of you, and some patients may find it unusual, but I feel it's actually a chance for a patient to hear a recap and come up with additional questions, if any. You can also ask questions by email or phone call, which is very convenient. It is also helpful that one can usually get an appointment within a reasonably short period of time, at least from my experience. I highly recommend Dr. Trey!
Dr. Trey is an incredibly intelligent doctor and he really takes the time to get to know all of his patients both on a personal level, as well as, on a professional level. I would highly recommend going to see him, especially if you are looking for a doctor who doesn't look to rush you right out the door!
He is a great doctor! I went for an gastrointestinal issue and end up having him as Primary care physician for both me and my wife! I cannot recommended anyone more!!
