I received my confirmation here around 1982 when Pastor Koster was there, along with an old friend from Lutheran Elementary School named Tracy. My memories of this church are many, and while I lapsed with attendance by the mid 1980s, everything Pastor Koster told me became true. The last time I visited this nice little church was around 1990, and the churches name now included the word evangelical. It was a Christmas service and it was most wonderful I understand this church was also connected with Camp Son Rise in Schroon Lake, which I learned from a website the church had up. Meeting kids my age when I used to go to Schroon Lake on vacation confirmed that Son Rise was indeed a beautiful experience. I've long since moved to Connecticut but if I am ever in my old hometown again, I'll be sure to attend a service there.
Great place of worship. I'm planning on making it my home.
