U-Haul at 39th Expressway

Wanted to get an early start on the move, that didn't happen. They blocked my truck into the corner with another truck. After 10 minutes of positioning the truck back and fourth I ended up having to call and make reservations somewhere else because they didn't open for another 3 hours. I just wish I read the reviews prior to reserving the pickup.

Mike was very kind and quickly helped me resolve an issue caused by another store. Wonderful customer service. I definitely recommend this location!

The U-haul I used was in very bad condition it definitely a death trap! I call U-haul to inform them of the things going on with the truck only to get blown off… Once I get inside the build and let them know, that while I had their property! The truck wouldn’t start for over 20min then one it did get started the ignition got stuck ! The wheel alignment was so off the stirring wheel didn’t even sit at 10 and 2 when I was driving on the highway the driver door came open ! Chance Long and his business associates then starts to get smart making slick remarks saying none of our other customers complained. Then his business partner goes to tell me well I took the dolly payment off the Uhaul I’m sorry sir but my life is definitely worth more than $10 they wouldn’t not help me or try to resolve the matter instead they kept talking over me . Then two males teamed up against me a female then tell me I owe them more money. I ask if I can have the number to corporate they give me a number to their insurance company. So Im to the point where I see there is no use in me talking to them cause they not trying yo help me or return my money from the rental ! So I go get my husband and tell him how they are mistreating me and trying to belittle me in the store! My husband comes in they get the issue resolved right away and give his the refund and none of the problems they gave me! I will be reporting this to the better business bureau and I also will be calling corporate. Sarah Brumley as the general manger you should have train your assistant manger and coworker not to bully women or try to over talk them about a situation and call your customer liars!

Great friendly Customer service! Making a reservation, pick up as well as drop off went Amazingly fast!

Unfortunately I have to rate them poorly because i stopped by on Aug 28th and the employee chris refused to fill my propane because he would be closing in 15 minutes and wanted to do some other duties before he left. Costing me a major inconvenience seeing that I had a strip n wax booked for that night. I let him know the need but he still denied me.

The woman who was working the counter when I came to pick up my truck was extremely rude. I don’t know if U-Haul makes it a habit of hiring people fresh out of county and lacking people skills, but somebody messed up at this location and put this woman behind the counter to deal with people during one of the most stressful times of their life. Thankfully the people that were there when I dropped off my truck we’re way more kind.

I appreciate you all for the hospitality and the help! I have used you all many times over the years, but today was a hard day and the gentlemen extended my rental and didnt give me an extra charge for it! So Thanks that really made my day!

The manager did not cancel my reservation til the day before. I had plans to use the hitch the next day. Communicate with your customers in a timely manner. This place needs a new manager who is competent and actually plans for when he goes on vacation.

Both times I've used this store the experience has been excellent. The staff are very helpful and fast. I will definitely continue to use this location.
