I don’t usually give reviews but if I can save anyone from the trouble my husband and I just went through with this terrible company. We both got new phones in march. I was told by the sales person that the new Samsung ultra 22 “was the best phone ever” That couldn’t have been further from the truth. The phone was junk and completely went out within 6 months. Took it back to US Cellular just to be told I had to contact Samsung. Even though I’m paying US Cellular for the phone I have to go track down the people they bought it from. Samsung took my phone for a week and switched out the whole motherboard. Leaving me with absolutely no phone for over a week. I had to cancel appointments and meetings because of this. US Cellular did not care one bit all they want to do is sit back and collect your money. I finally got my phone back a week later just to find it wasn’t fixed at all. I had Samsung blaming US Cellular for their bad network and US Cellular blaming Samsung. Two companies pointing fingers at each other like toddlers while I have absolutely no phone. I sent my phone to Samsung to get a new one. Meanwhile we went into US Cellular to close everything out and pay off both phones. The lady helping us do so was by far the rudest person I have ever met. Two phones not even a year old and US Cellular said they would buy them both back for $800. Hell No! So we went to Verizon and they gave us $1000 trade in for each phone and set us up with new phones on a network that actually works. I’ve since then contacted the BBB and anyone else I can about this nightmare. Please beware of the company and do your homework before signing anything with them. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Verizon and get an iPhone. God Bless.
Came in yesterday to check out pricing on upgrading new phones and within minutes I knew I was going to be walking out frustrated. The lady helping us right off the bat was stand offish and rude. She didn’t seem to really want to help. After telling us our plan was going to go up from where it already was due to new plans and such I mentioned I might look at my options. At this point her attitude caused me to walk out. My suggestion is if you are going to have these people work with the public train them better and if not plan on losing customers.
I have lived in Clemons Iowa for going on 10 years. Now I get no service. Calls are dropped or do not come through at all. My texts say waiting for a connection and I cannot communicate with my kids and grandkids. I had to leave town Saturday to call customer service and was on the phone with them for 50 minutes. They were taking my information and complaint to see what was going on. Today someone called me back to say the so called engineer said we have issues in this area in different seasons. I have not experienced this until the last few weeks. Don't tell me this is your answer. If I could give no stars Iwould
We have had great experiences at this location and yesterday was no exception. Lisa helped us with a new plan and phone. Excellent service from her and there was no wait. This is our store!
Shawn at this location is amazing. He is great at customer service and will always do a great job of explaining pricing and giving you the lowest payment on a plan possible. However, others I have talked to will try to hide charges or are not willing to tell you about the cheapest plans. Today I went in because my bill was quite a bit higher than usual and I talked to the sales manager. He told me that he would call me back with different plan options....well that never happened. I came back the store after work and he was their and was like oh ya I was supposed to call you back. He was arrogant when talking to him at times too. I did my own research on different cell service carriers and us cellular is pretty overpriced on their plans. We will be switching to AT&T where the cost would be 79 dollars a month or Project Fi where the cost is 35 dollars a month + 10/gig. We don't use many gigs so that would be perfect. Do your research people...you are overpaying for these plans!
Was greeted immediately. Helpful and friendly. The store was clean and layout friendly. They were out of the phone i wanted, strangely, as it was on display. I feel they could carry more variety. We ain't all Apple and high end Samsung users. I did find a phone tho and the porting and registration went quickly. Happy US Cellular customer.

I needed authorization to get a sim card , completely normal. they told me resetting the network settings would fix it, and did it. they failed to tell me it would forget every single wifi password, every single bluetooth device, and now i’m pretty upset because i’m going to have to redo everything, and it won’t be easy.
Worst customer service that I've ever had the misfortune of encountering. Every single time I go to this specific US Cellular I wait for a minimum of 45 minutes, sometimes up to 2 hours only to be told that they can't help me do whatever I'm trying to do. I have literally never had a positive experience any of the times I've been in there. The US Cellular in my hometown is 500x better than this one, I always got great customer service. Avoid this US Cellular if you can, Next time I'm going to drive all the way to the mall just to avoid this awful store.
In June of this year I switched from Verizon to US Cellular and purchased a new phone in the process. At that time I was told that I would qualify for the same monthly discount available through my employer that I had been receiving from Verizon. The request was submitted by the sales person. A few weeks later I received a letter telling me I was not eligible for the discount. I stopped at the store and was again told I should get the discount as discussed in June. The request was submitted again - and was denied again. I have since been advised that I need a more expensive plan ! to qualify for the discount - per the store manager. I do not want or need a more expensive plan. Be careful! US Cellular does NOT fulfill it's promises to it's customers!
